When does iOS 27 come out in Australia?
iOS 27 goes live globally on Monday, 14 September, arriving in Australia in the early hours of Tuesday, 15 September.
It should be available from around 3am AEST.
Updates like this don't always appear the second they drop.

Which iPhones can get iOS 27?
Apple isn't dropping any phones this year, so if your iPhone runs iOS 26, it'll run iOS 27.
That covers every iPhone from the iPhone 11 onwards, plus the second-generation iPhone SE and later.
There's a catch with the AI features.
The new Siri and most Apple Intelligence features require an iPhone 15 Pro or later, while some newer features are limited to the latest iPhones - iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max and iPhone Air.
How should I update to iOS 27?
Once it's live, the update is free and takes a few minutes over Wi-Fi.
Here's how it works.
- Open Settings and tap General.
- Tap Software Update.
- Tap Update Now, or Download and Install if that's what shows.
Your iPhone needs to be connected to Wi-Fi, and it's easiest with the phone on charge.
Apple recommends backing up your iPhone to iCloud or your computer before you install, in case anything goes wrong.
The biggest iOS 27 features to expect
The biggest change is Siri.
Apple has rebuilt its assistant around generative AI, so it can hold a more natural conversation, pull context from your messages, emails and photos, and even use the camera to work out what you're looking at.
Photos gets a run of new editing tools.
That includes a Spatial Reframing feature that shifts the perspective of a shot, a smarter Clean Up for removing objects, and an Extend tool that fills in the edges of an image.
Safari can now sort your open tabs into groups by topic on its own, and a new Notify Me option will ping you when a webpage changes.
That's handy for stock drops or ticket releases.
There's also a redesigned set of parental controls, expanded accessibility features and a few CarPlay upgrades.
