  • Based on leaks, the Pixel 10a is expected to look very similar to the Pixel 9a, though the colour lineup seems fresh: Berry, Lavender, Fog and Obsidian.

Google Pixel 10a release date in Australia

The budget-friendly Pixel 10a will be released on 19 February in the wee hours of the morning for those of us in Australia.

We're expecting pre-orders to go live on the same day.

Last year, Google unveiled its A Series in March, but this time it looks like it's aiming to get ahead of one of the year's first major phone launches - the Samsung Galaxy S26 series on 26 February.

Google Pixel 10a price in Australia

Some rumours suggest the Pixel 10a could be priced lower than last year's model, but after a fair bit of scrounging the internet, it sounds like it could be the same:

  • $849 for Pixel 10a 128GB
  • $999 for Pixel 10a 256GB

Google Pixel 10a rumours

Based on the rumours we've seen so far, there's a good chance the Google Pixel 10a will look and feel similar to the Pixel 9a.

This includes a 6.3-inch display but with potentially thinner bezels, a 48-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 5,100 mAh battery.

We may also see it powered by last year's Tensor G4 chip, which may annoy the tech nerds among us, but here's the thing.

The target audience for this phone probably doesn't care as long as it can run daily tasks well.

However, a key differentiator could be a new range of colours and some small software updates.

Check back in with us on the day of the launch for all the tea.

Until then, I'll leave you with this: I was kind of obsessed with the Pixel 9a when it first came out and consider it one of the best value phones of 2025.
