This is one of the lowest-priced internet plans in Australia at time of writing, allowing you to save $480 over 2 years. However, it's only available in select addresses in Canberra.
It's intended for casual browsing and HD streaming; if you live alone or as part of a couple, this plan may suit your speed needs.
VDSLMax
With an estimated evening speed of 500Mbps*, the VDSLMax plan is $59.99/mth for 2 years, then $79.99/mth^.
If you need extra speed for HD streaming, gaming or simply have a lot of online devices, then this plan may be right for your needs.
3. Is a modem included with iiNet Ultra VDSL plans?
Yes, but there are some conditions. Wi-Fi 7 compatible devices are required for you to get online with this plan.
When you join up for an iiNet Ultra VDSL plan, you'll receive a Wi-Fi 7 modem so that you can take advantage of faster internet speeds.
The modem is $0 when you stay connected on your plan for 24 months, and there is a $10 delivery charge to get the modem.
Now, you can decide to cancel before the 24 months have lapsed. In this case you can either:
- Return the modem in good working condition within 21 days which means there will be no modem fee, or
- Pay a modem fee of $200 to keep the modem.
4. Can I add call packs onto my internet plan with iinet?
Yes! Now, one thing to remember is that your internet plan includes local and standard and national calls at no extra cost.
However, you can also add:
- International Call Pack: Unlimited standard landline calls to 20 destinations for an additional $10/month.
- Mobile Call Pack: Unlimited standard landline calls to Australian mobile numbers for an additional $10/month.
