Robot vacuum owners are a loyal bunch and Finder's 2026 Customer Satisfaction Awards put that loyalty to the test. We asked real robot vacuum owners across Australia to rate their machine on how much they love it, how reliable it is, and how it performs for the price. Kogan and Roborock came out on top overall, each taking home two of the five award categories, while Dreame claimed the Top Performance crown.

Kogan swept two categories this year, more than any other brand.

Owners rated it the Most Loved robot vacuum, a category that comes down to everyday satisfaction and usually points to who'll buy the same brand again. It also topped Top Value, no small feat given Kogan built its name on affordability, and this result suggests owners feel they're genuinely getting their money's worth, not just a cheap price tag.

On top of that, Kogan picked up two Highly Commended results: Most Reliable (behind winner Roborock) and Top Performance (behind winner Dreame).

Roborock also claimed two wins, and was the most consistent name on the list.

It topped Most Reliable, which matters most once the novelty of a new machine has worn off and it's put through daily paces. It also won Most Recommended, perhaps the hardest one to win, since people are putting their own reputation on the line when they vouch for a brand.

On top of that, Roborock picked up three Highly Commended results: Most Loved (behind winner Kogan), Top Value (behind winner Kogan), and Top Performance (behind winner Dreame), meaning it placed in all five categories, the only brand to do so.

Dreame took out just one category, but it was Top Performance.

Top Performance is the category most directly tied to how well a robot vacuum actually cleans, covering suction, navigation and consistency, so this win speaks to Dreame's core strength on the job.

On top of that, Dreame picked up two Highly Commended results: Top Value (behind winner Kogan) and Most Recommended (behind winner Roborock).

Four more brands picked up a single Highly Commended nod each.

Dyson was commended for Most Loved, Bissell for Most Reliable, Electrolux for Top Performance, and Samsung for Most Recommended, each earning one nod without breaking into the top spot in any category.

How we rank the best robot vacuums

Finder's Customer Satisfaction Awards are based on real feedback from Australian consumers, not marketing spin. As part of a broader survey of more than 60,000 Australians about their recent purchases and brand experiences, we asked robot vacuum owners to rate the brand they use on how much they love it, how reliable it is, and how it performs for the price.

Respondents could only vote on brands they've actually purchased and used. Each brand's score out of 5 is the average rating it received across these measures, with the highest-scoring brand in a category named the Winner and the next-highest scorers named Highly Commended.
