Telstra Pixel 7 and 7 Pro plans
If you're with Telstra, you can buy the Pixel 7 or 7 Pro outright. Alternatively, you can spread the cost of the phone or 12, 24 or 36 months when you pair your handset with a SIM-only plan.
Signing up with a phone plan from Telstra comes with some perks such as:
- No excess data charges. Your speeds will be capped at 1.5Mbps once you've used up your data allowance
- Earn 10 points for every dollar spent with Telstra Plus to redeem in its Rewards Store. Plus access to other perks such as discounted movies and concert pre-sales
- Unlimited international texts to all countries and at least 30 minutes of free calls
Google Pixel 7a plans and pricing
Fortunately, Optus is still selling the Pixel 7a (128GB) on a plan if you have a stricter budget. It costs around $750.
If you're already with Optus, you can buy it outright or pay it off over 12, 24, or 36 months when you pair the phone repayment with a SIM-only plan.
Signing up with Optus will give you access to extra bells and whistles such as:
- Endless data. Your speeds will be capped at 1.5Mbps once you've chewed through your data allowance
- Unlimited international calls and texts to 35 countries (on its medium plan and above)
- Up to 10% in savings when you bundle 3 or more subscriptions via Optus SubHub or up to $20 every month on streaming when you sign up for the Large Choice Plus plan
