Hi Ivan, You’ll need to think carefully about how your recipient will receive and use the funds – while you can send Australian dollars through a number of services to Butan (Remitly is one example), they will usually be converted to the local currency for pickup.
Hi, my daughter worked in Canada until Covid prompted her return to Australia. The Canadian government have sent her a tax return cheque, but she cannot find any bank or financial institution that will accept it. Do you have any advice please?

Unfortunately most banks have phased out processing foreign cheques. There may be some private services you can access where you pay a fee to process the cheque; alternatively you could contact the Canadian Revenue Agency and enquire about alternative ways to receive this payment.
