Australia's favourite brands for appliances and tech products have been revealed by Finder in the 2026 Customer Satisfaction Awards.

From TVs to airfryers, the awards shine a spotlight on the brands that truly deliver for Australian consumers.

Finder's Customer Satisfaction Awards are based on feedback from over 50,000 Australians who rated brands across a range of metrics.

Metrics include how much they trust and love a brand, how they would rate it for value, and if they'd recommended it to a friend.

Taylor Blackburn, personal finance specialist at Finder, said with over 50,000 Australians weighing in, the awards cut through the marketing spin and show which brands are really earning trust.

"Buying a new appliance or tech product is a big-ticket decision and it pays to know which brands people stand behind once they've lived with the product."

KitchenAid dominated in 2026 taking home 34 wins, including the overall most loved brand for small kitchen appliances.

Bosch was also a standout performer, earning 35 wins across ten categories. Impressively, it won 6 of 7 oven awards.

Ten brands managed a clean sweep, winning every available award in their category: Bosch (stick vacuum cleaners), Dell (printers), Apollo (electric scooters), Westinghouse (freezers), Panasonic (microwaves), Sunbeam (sandwich makers), KitchenAid (small appliances, hand blenders and stand mixers), Rinnai (gas heaters), Arovec (dehumidifiers) and Fisher & Paykel (washing machines).

Blackburn said 10 brands sweeping a category is a lot for a program this size.

"When a brand wins every award in its category, it means it is satisfying customers on value, reliability and performance all at once.

"If you are in the market for one of these products, these brands are a good place to start."

The kitchen bench proved the most fiercely contested space in the program. KitchenAid finished with 34 wins, Sunbeam won 24 titles, Ninja won 19, and Fisher & Paykel rounded out the top 5 with 18.

Budget brands punch well above their weight

ALDI won a range of awards including top value and most recommended for kettles. Big W claimed 4 rice cooker awards and Kmart 3 for slow cookers.

Blackburn said the results show price and satisfaction do not always move together.

"You don't have to spend big to get a quality appliance.

"Stores like ALDI, Kmart and Big W are beating brands that cost several times as much on the things people actually care about."

Kogan was named both most loved and top value in robot vacuums, a category otherwise dominated by specialists Roborock and Dreame. Blaupunkt took top value in TVs and two of soundbar awards, and Alcatel won both top value and most trusted for mobile phones.

Newcomers came for the incumbents

While established names held firm in the premium categories – Fisher & Paykel for washing machines and Panasonic for microwaves – a handful of challenger brands made serious inroads.

Air treatment specialist Arovec finished with 12 awards across 3 categories, sweeping dehumidifiers and beating Dyson to top value, most reliable and most recommended in air purifiers.

"Arovec knocking off a powerhouse like Dyson on value and reliability in air purifiers is exactly the kind of result that makes people stop and reconsider what's in their shopping cart," Blackburn said.

In tech, Apple was named most loved in both laptops and tablets, while Samsung was the most loved TV brand for the 7th year in a row. Alienware picked up top value and most recommended laptops, and Acer took three of five tablet awards. Canon won 4 of 5 camera awards, with Nikon named most recommended.

Finder Awards are earned and never bought. Finder made the decision over ten years ago not to charge licensing fees for its awards badges.
