Grocery gold: Finder reveals the top-rated supermarkets

Aussies favourite supermarket stores have been revealed by Finder in the 2025 Customer Satisfaction Awards.
From Harris Farm to Aldi, Finder's Customer Satisfaction Awards reveal which supermarkets people love most, as voted by over 10,000 Australian consumers.
Graham Cooke, head of consumer research at Finder, said the awards were designed to give consumers confidence in where they shop.
"The top-rated brands are delivering on what matters most to shoppers – from value for money through to legendary service.
"At a time when every dollar counts, these retailers are making a big difference to households."
Harris Farm was one of the big winners this year – winning 4 of the 8 awards. It was voted the 'Most Loved', 'Most Recommended', 'Most Trusted' and 'Top Rated Supermarket Produce'.
ALDI won the 'Top Value' award for the second year running, while Ritchies took out 'Legendary Service'.
For those looking to be rewarded for their shop, Woolworths won the top spot for 'Top Rated Supermarket Rewards Program'.
Coles was a favourite for home convenience, winning the category 'Top Rated Grocery Delivery'.
Cooke said Harris Farm performed particularly well.
"Harris Farm took the top gong in half of all the categories this year, and was the most recommended supermarket in Australia.
"For those looking for a bargain though, Aldi came out on top again. Their range, however, is smaller than their competitors.
"Coles has been upping their game in delivery, and the Woolies rewards program is the highest rated in Australia, and the one only one which awards Qantas points.
"The supermarket industry is fiercely competitive and brands do tend to excel in different areas."
The average Australian reports spending $209 per week on groceries for their household in August, according to Finder's Consumer Sentiment Tracker.
That's up from $190 per week a year ago (August 2024).
Unsurprisingly, parents report spending significantly more per week for their household ($264) compared to those without children ($183).
