Jennifer Snell has been appointed to the role of Head of Growth at Finder, effective immediately.

Snell had been Finder's Head of Marketing for the last 2.5 years. Jen Snell

In the newly created role, Snell will oversee Publishing and Editorial, in addition to Marketing, bringing together all areas of the customer journey as Finder continues to scale.

Snell has been instrumental in the success of the Finder app, which launched in March 2020 and recently made headlines for its innovative Bitcoin trading feature, an Australian first that lets you buy and sell Bitcoin in under 3 minutes.

Finder now services more than 2 million Australians monthly, while the app boasts more than 300,000 installs.

Snell will play a key role in Finder's expansion, which will include ramping up Finder's membership base, engagement and unlocking compelling customer benefits.

Snell said she was looking forward to the challenge ahead.

"I couldn't be more excited to connect our talented publishing and marketing teams to bring the Finder app to even more people.

"Our ambition is for the Finder app to be the only money app Australians need. You can already track your credit score, see all your accounts in one place, compare products, track your spending and now, trade cryptocurrency. Best of all it's free and easy to use."

Chris Ellis, CEO of Finder Australia, said Snell's appointment to the role comes at a pivotal time.

"Our sights are very firmly set on helping more Australians save money and make money and Jen's innate customer-first mindset makes her the perfect person to lead us into our next phase of growth.

"Right now, more than ever, Australians need to get on top of their finances. We believe Finder has an important role to play in educating, informing and helping people reach their financial goals. There's no other app like it in Australia and we'll continue to innovate to best serve our customers' needs."

It has been a big 6 months for the fast-growing fintech. In April Finder announced it had acquired comparison site GoBear in Southeast Asia, while last month Finder opened its seventh office globally – in Denver, Colorado.

Last week Finder was named on the list of Australia's Best Workplaces for the second year in a row.

Finder is currently hiring 23 roles in Australia, within the Growth, Product and Engineering teams and more.
