Finder Impact Report 2022

Our first impact report outlines our social and environmental for the 12 months to July 2022.

Finder is a purpose-led business that exists to help people make decisions that change their lives for the better.

This is our first ever impact report and in it we try and capture the positive social and environmental impact that Finder had in the last 12 months. The report is split into 4 sections that represent our impact focus areas of financial impact, sustainable impact, community impact and crew impact.

So please download the report and let us know what you think. We know there's room for improvement but like all things at Finder we wanted go-live and then iterate. Consider this the benchmark that we will measure ourselves against in future impact reports.

  • Every 2 seconds an action was taken on Finder to save or make money.
  • 15.7 million actions total taken through the platform.
  • Over 96,000 credit scores accessed for free with Finder.
  • 29,000 hours spent by our customer team responding to over 50,000 customer queries.
  • Over 1,000 customers attending our free money masterclasses.

Highlights from this year

  • Measured and offset 100% of our annual emissions for the first time.
  • Hosted our third Finder Green Awards program to help Australians use Finder's platform to make greener decisions.
  • Committed to setting science-based emission targets as part of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
  • Ran 2 regular content series by Finder writers called Going Green and Finder Green Fave.

Highlights from this year

  • 375 students from 11 schools involved in our School Entrepreneur of the Year tournament ran with Generation Entrepreneur.
  • 800+ COVID-19 vaccines donated to the developing world on behalf of our crew.
  • $30,000 in donations to support charities in Ukraine.
  • Charity NFT project raised more than $5,000 worth of Ethereum for Ukraine Ministry of Digital Transformation.
  • Continued sponsorship of the Startmate Fellowship, a program tackling gender inequality in Australian startups.

  • Launched "Life Leave" policy giving crew 5 extra days of paid leave for all of life's big and small moments.
  • Launched an improved gender-neutral parental leave policy with up to 20 weeks of full pay and no qualifying period.

  • Named the winner of 4 categories in the UK Employee Experience Awards.
  • Included on the Australian Financial Review's best places to work list.
