Stay active and get paid

Maintain your eligible combined policy. After verification, we'll email your $300 digital Visa gift card by 31 October 2025.

Eligibility at a glance

Who can participate?

  • Be 18 years or older and an Australian resident.
  • Be a Finder member (create a free account if you're not one).
  • While logged into your Finder member account, complete a health insurance quote and click the unique promotion link in the same session.
  • Be one of the first 190 customers to sign up for an eligible HBF policy through HBF via Finder during the promotion period.

Policy and payment rules

  • Be a new HBF customer or haven't held an HBF policy in the last 12 months (excluding dependants coming off a family policy).
  • Pay premiums monthly or fortnightly by direct debit and keep payments up to date.
  • Make sure your name and email address match exactly on both the Finder quote and your HBF policy signup.

Reward delivery timeline

  • Eligibility Checks: Conducted on or before 30 September 2025.
  • Reward Delivery: Sent via email by 31 October 2025 (or within 90 days of signup).
  • Redemption: You'll receive a code for a digital Visa card issued by Blackhawk Network.

What is the promotion?

Finder is offering a $300 digital Visa card to eligible customers who switch to a combined HBF hospital and extras health insurance policy via the Finder Comparison Service.

When does the promotion run?

This offer runs from 12:01pm AEST on 11 June 2025 until 11:59pm AEST on 30 June 2025, or until 190 rewards are claimed - whichever comes first.

How do I know if the offer is still available?

This offer is limited to the first 190 eligible customers. You'll know it's still available if you see it displayed on www.finder.com.au . Once the 190 customer limit is reached, the offer will be removed from the site.

What HBF covers are eligible?

You must sign up for a combined hospital and extras policy. Eligible options include:

Who is not eligible?

You are not eligible if:

  • You're not a Finder member or didn't use the unique promotion link.

  • You weren't one of the first 190 customers to sign up during the promotion period.

  • Your signup details (name, email) don't match between Finder and HBF.

  • You are a current HBF policyholder (unless you're a dependent leaving a family policy).

  • You choose to pay premiums quarterly, half-yearly or annually.

  • You're an HBF employee or family member eligible for staff discounts.

  • You've used another HBF promo or discount in the last 12 months (excluding the direct debit discount).

  • You combine this offer with any other HBF offer.

How do I get the $300 digital Visa card?

If you're eligible, you'll receive an email with a unique redemption code for your card.

  • Fulfilment checks will be done by 30 September 2025.

  • You'll receive your digital Visa card by 31 October 2025, or within 90 days of signing up (whichever is sooner).

  • The Visa card is issued by Blackhawk Network and subject to Activ Visa card terms.

Can I use the reward with another offer?

No. This promotion can't be combined with any other HBF offer, promo or discount (except the direct debit discount).

What happens if I cancel or change my policy?

If you don't maintain the eligible policy until the reward is fulfilled, you may no longer be eligible.

What else should I know?

  • Finder is not recommending that you switch to HBF - it's your decision, so make sure the policy is right for you.

  • Finder may receive a commission if you do switch.

  • The reward is limited to one per eligible transaction.
