Discontinuation of Cryptocurrency Exchange Services

After careful consideration, Wallet Ventures (formerly Finder Wallet) has decided to discontinue its cryptocurrency exchange services from 12pm Thursday 19 June 2025 (AEST) ("Sunset Date").

After this date, you will no longer be able to:

• buy or sell cryptocurrency, or
• access account funding, including deposits and withdrawals on the Wallet tab of the Finder App.

If you currently have any Cryptocurrency or Fiat (AUD) in your Wallet Ventures account, you must withdraw all balances prior to 12pm Thursday 19 June 2025 (AEST).

What You Need To Do

Log in to your Wallet Ventures account, available on the 'Wallet' tab of the Finder App.

Withdraw any balances held in your account with Wallet Ventures, including all AUD and Cryptocurrencies, prior to 12pm Thursday 19 June 2025 (AEST).

• Standard Withdrawal Methods
  • AUD to a bank account held in your name.
  • Cryptocurrency to your own self-custody wallet.

• Swyftx (preferred partner)
  • AUD and Cryptocurrency to a verified Swyftx account held in your name.

Our partnership with Swyftx

In addition to the standard withdrawal methods we currently support, we have partnered with Swyftx to offer an option for customers who would like to continue their cryptocurrency journey.

Launched in 2018, Brisbane-based Swyftx is one of the largest brokerages in the ANZ region with over 1.1 million customers. The platform provides access to more than 440 cryptocurrencies and offers a suite of powerful features tailored to both beginners and advanced users.

Available in the Wallet tab of the Finder App, eligible Wallet Ventures customers will have the choice of following a few simple steps to create a new Swyftx account (or to sign-in if you're already a Swyftx customer), and we'll work with the Swyftx team to securely process requests to withdraw Wallet Ventures balance out of our platform and into your Swyftx account on a weekly basis.

Please note: Customers who request to withdraw their balance to Swyftx via our in-app prompts, are not required to sell or re-buy assets as a part of this process. You will receive the same quantity of each respective asset that you have in your Wallet Ventures balance as at the time we process the request.

• 0000.10 BTC -> 0000.10 BTC
• 3240.00 XRP -> 3240.00 XRP
• $50.00 AUD -> $50.00 AUD

Please note: due to the network upgrades and rebranding of Fantom and Polygon, we will upgrade the below tokens to their respective upgraded network.

• Customers who withdraw Fantom (FTM) will receive Sonic (S) at a 1:1 ratio.
• Customers who withdraw Polygon (MATIC) will receive Polygon (POL) at a 1:1 ratio.

• Why is Wallet Ventures shutting down?

  Wallet Ventures was created to provide a simple and secure way for Australians to access and invest in cryptocurrency, recognising a gap in the market where offerings were too often complex and difficult to use.

  The decision to sunset the exchange offering comes alongside the evolution of the exchange landscape in Australia, with there now being a number of great exchanges that successfully cater to the full range of needs from beginner investors to advanced traders. The expansive offering and investment from exchanges like Swyftx to provide best-in-class services, means we’ve seen through our goal in helping people find their initial pathway into the exciting world of blockchains and cryptocurrencies.

  Since launch, we have enabled over 80,000 Australian with access to digital assets. While Wallet Ventures will be departing the Finder App, the separate Finder business remains as passionate as ever about the crypto industry; focused on doing what we do best—helping you get better deals across thousands of products and services.

• Is everything okay? Is my balance safe?

  Yes. Your account balances remain secure. However, you must take action before 12pm Thursday 19 June 2025 (AEST) to withdraw your funds. After this date, you'll need to contact our customer support team and complete additional steps and verifications through a manual process.

• When is the last day I can withdraw my funds?

  12pm Thursday 19 June 2025 (AEST).

• What happens if I don't withdraw my funds before the Sunset Date?

  Your account will no longer be accessible via the Finder App after 12pm Thursday 19 June 2025 (AEST). Any remaining balances will require a manual withdrawal process via our support team.

• Can I still deposit or trade before the Sunset Date?

  Eligible accounts with an existing balance, will continue to have full access to our services until the Sunset Date, however, we do request that you withdraw any balances at your earliest convenience prior to 12pm Thursday 19 June 2025 (AEST).

  Eligible accounts who have requested their balance to be withdrawn and deposited into their Swyftx account, will be unable to buy, sell, deposit and withdraw once this request is in progress. The status of transfers to your Swyftx account (if you have requested this by following the prompts in our app), will be available in your account on the 'Wallet' tab of the Finder App.

• What if I only have a reward or promotional balance?

  If you haven't made any deposits in the past, your promotional balance can still be withdrawn subject to satisfactory verification of your identity and nominated bank account. However, if a promotional reward balance has not been withdrawn by 12pm Thursday 19 June 2025 (AEST), it will be considered to be forfeited by you.

• How do I withdraw: My account balances to Swyftx?

  This withdrawal method will be available to eligible customers on the Wallet tab, below where the Cash and Crypto balance is displayed.

  1. Navigate to the Wallet tab in the Finder App.
  2. Tap 'Withdraw to Swyftx', located below your Cash Balance and Crypto Portfolio.
  3. Review the information provided.
  4. If you agree, tap the relevant button either to sign-up as a new customer to Swyftx, or to sign in as an existing Swyftx customer.

  Please note:

  • To withdraw to Swyftx from our platform you must follow the above process.
  • Existing Swyftx customers will be redirected to arrive on the dashboard of the Swyftx app. This is intended, and no further steps are required.
  • Some Wallet Ventures customers will not see the Swyftx withrawal option on their Wallet tab. If you experience this, it may mean we need to review or update some of your account information before making this feature available to you.

• How do I withdraw: Cryptocurrency to my own wallet?

  If you wish to sell your cryptocurrency balance(s) to withdraw AUD instead of withdrawing cryptocurrency balances to your own cryptocurrency wallet or Swyftx account, please review our FAQ item titled "How do I sell my cryptocurrency balance".

  Advanced Users

  Our cryptocurrency withdrawals process requires several manual steps and additional verification. If you are comfortable with managing your own cryptocurrency in a wallet you control, please enquire in our support chat via 'Get Support' on the Wallet tab of the Finder App and we will explain this process.

  Note: It will be your responsibility to provide correct public addresses for the relevant network and MEMOs. Assets sent to an incorrect address will be unrecoverable.

• How do I withdraw: AUD to my bank account?

  To withdraw AUD, please follow these steps labelled (A)-(E) reflecting the example provided below.

  (A) Sign-in to the Finder App, and navigate to the Wallet Tab.

  (B) Tap on your Cash Balance.

  (C) Select Withdraw at the bottom of the transaction history screen.

  (D) Enter the amount you would like to withdraw.

  (E) Submit the request.

• How do I sell my Cryptocurrency?

  1. On the Wallet tab of the Finder App, tap on your 'Crypto Portfolio'.
  2. Select the asset you wish to sell.
  3. On the asset screen, tap 'Sell'.
  4. Follow the prompts. If you wish to sell your entire balance of an asset, it's recommended that you use the 'sell-max' button, as this will ensure you are not left with a small fractional balance.
  5. Repeat for any other cryptocurrencies you wish to sell

  Once you complete a cryptocurrency sell, your Cash balance displayed on the Wallet tab will be updated to reflect the AUD proceeds of the transaction and become eligible for withdrawal to your bank account.

• Do I need to sell my Cryptocurrency?

  There is no requirement to sell your cryptocurrency. We offer both cryptocurrency withdrawals to your own cryptocurrency wallet, or a partnership with Swyftx that makes it easy for eligible accounts to migrate their balance including crypto assets in-kind.

• How do I add my bank account for withdrawals?

  In most cases, our systems will automatically add your bank account for withdrawals following any deposit made into your account from a bank account held individually in your name.
  This is often the fastest way for us to verify and enable your bank account for withdrawals.

  Alternatively, you can enter your bank details as a step in the withdrawal prompts (see 'How do I withdraw AUD to my bank account?" above), and we'll just need to check a bank statement to ensure we're meeting our regulatory obligations.

  If you have made a deposit in the past but don't see your bank account available as a withdrawal method, please enter your bank details for the same bank account and either provide your bank statement as requested in the prompts, or you can contact our support team via 'Get Support' on the Wallet tab as we may be able to review the withdrawal method without needing a bank statement.

Account & Process Queries

• What if I want to keep trading crypto?

  We've partnered with Swyftx to provide a convenient migration option. You can sign up or log in to your existing Swyftx account right from the Wallet Tab in the Finder App to submit the request for us to transfer your account balance(s) over to Swyftx. Alternatively, you are welcome to withdraw cryptocurrency assets to your personal cryptocurrency wallet.

• I have recurring deposits set up. What should I do?

  Please disable any payroll or automatic transfers to your Wallet Ventures account. You can do this from your online banking application. Ensure no further deposits are scheduled as the service will be closed.
