Unlimited data mobile plans with felix mobile
Unlimited data is still relatively new in Australia, and with felix mobile, you can choose from two unlimited data plans: speeds of up to 40Mbps or up to 80Mbps.
Additionally, felix mobile won Best Unlimited Data Mobile Provider in the 2026 Finder Awards. You can read more about their services and Awards win right here on Finder, too.
Currently, felix mobile offers two unlimited data mobile plans. The main difference between these two plans? The max speed cap they offer.
- With the launch of felix mobile's new Unlimited+ data plan, you now have the opportunity to access unlimited data at speeds up to 80Mbps, for quicker downloads of large content and files.
- felix mobile's existing Unlimited data plan offers speeds up to 40Mbps.
We'll take a look at what sort of person each of these plans can suit in a moment.
Using unlimited data
So, now that you've unlocked all of this data, how do you want to use it?
Maybe you're a keen streamer – music and the latest shows or movies. Perhaps you want to catch up with friends and family by giving them a video call.
Mobile gaming has also come along in leaps and bounds over the last few years. So having unlimited data means (at speeds up to 40Mbps or 80Mbps) it's far easier to use your device for getting in a few rounds when you have a free moment.
And there are practical considerations too. For example, it's common today for apps and devices to require regular (and large!) updates.
Likewise, if you work remotely, having unlimited data (at speeds up to 40mbps or 80mbps) can also be handy for downloading large files or using your phone as a temporary hotspot for your personal laptop or tablet.

The need for speed
felix mobile offers two distinct unlimited data plans – Unlimited data at speeds up to 40Mbps and Unlimited+ data at speeds up to 80Mbps.
The Unlimited data plan at speeds up to 40Mbps from felix mobile can provide a great experience for everyday activities like browsing, messaging, music streaming and video calls. It's geared at someone who values having unlimited data but isn't necessarily a power user who regularly downloads larger files, apps, movies or other content.
By contrast, the Unlimited+ data plan at speeds up to 80Mbps is geared at users with a need for unlimited data with a higher maximum speed cap, so you can download larger files, apps, movies and other content faster compared to the Unlimited data plan at speeds up to 40Mbps.
Speeds are subject to network conditions. Our 5G network provides the fastest download speeds. A compatible 5G device is required to access the 5G network, and you can check your coverage here.
