When it comes to credit products, a one-size-fits-all approach might not align with your individual needs and goals.

If you're just looking to cover everyday spend, it may not be necessary to opt for a credit card or loan.

A flexible credit product can be an alternative.

For example, Zip Plus is a flexible digital credit product intended for everyday expenses. Through Zip Plus, you can access a credit limit of $2,000-$8,000.

But beyond credit limits, it's also important to know what sort of features are included.

1. You can shop online and in-store

With Zip Plus, shopping online and in-store is seamless with the Zip Plus Visa card.¹

Simply Tap to Pay in-store via the Zip app or add your Zip Plus digital Visa card to your Google Wallet or Apple Pay.

Provided you've got your smartphone handy, you're able to shop anywhere Visa is accepted.

You're also able to see your remaining balance in real time.

You can also shop with confidence online, thanks to the added security provided by the single-use card option within the Zip app.

It automatically expires after a single purchase – so you don't need to worry about card details being leaked.

2. There are no foreign transaction fees

When you're travelling -- or just ordering from overseas websites -- foreign transaction fees can add significant extra costs.

However, Zip Plus doesn't charge foreign transaction fees.

This can give you an advantage in comparison to many credit cards.

So if you're on holiday and looking to pick up some souvenirs, you can save on unnecessary costs. And the same goes for when you're shopping with an overseas site, too!

3. Multiple repayment options

Zip Plus gives you the freedom to put repayments on your terms. You're able to select your repayment amount and frequency – weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

You can also make repayments early, without penalty.

This flexibility means you can manage Zip Plus to suit your own pay period and existing budgeting.

Zip Plus is also interest-free when you owe less than $1,500 at the end of the calendar month. However, if you owe more than $1,500 at the end of the calendar month, you'll be paying 12.95% interest per annum.

Making regular repayments and keeping your balance down can help you avoid additional repayment costs. If your balance is $0 at the end of the month, the $9.95 monthly account fee is waived.

4. You can use it for BPAY

One of the reasons some people use digital credit products like Zip Plus is to manage bills.

So with this in mind, Zip Plus can be used with more than 60,000 BPAY billers.²

This can potentially make it easier to manage your month-to-month costs and repay over time.

5. You can earn cashback

Everyone likes to earn rewards for everyday spend.

With Zip Plus, you're able to earn cashback when you shop with a variety of different rewards partners.³

Taking advantage of offers like this can be an effective way to score a bonus on spending that you needed to do anyway.

Check the Zip Plus website or app to see the complete range of participating retailers.
