With 2026 kicking off, we take a look at some of the key features offered by Crypto.com's trading app.

Whether you're an experienced crypto trader or trying it out for the first time this year, it's crucial to have the right app features in place.

1. Fee benefits

When you're doing any sort of investing, it's very important to look at the fees you're paying. If you're not careful, they can significantly eat into your profits or further amplify any losses.

However, Crypto.com Level Up members also benefit from zero trading fees up to a certain limit, depending on their tier.

• Plus members receive zero trading fees up to US$20K/month
• Pro members receive zero trading fees up to US$50K/month
• Private members receive zero trading fees on unlimited trades.

All members also pay 0% foreign exchange fees when using the Crypto.com Prepaid Visa Card. This can be very handy when you're travelling, shopping online with an overseas store or sending money internationally.

2. Trading tools

First things first. The most important thing you'll use your trading platform for is buying and selling crypto.

So, looking for an effective range of trading tools and a broad range of crypto assets is key.

Let's look at Crypto.com's app as an example:

3. Fee benefits

In addition to providing a means for trading, some platforms will allow you to sign up for separate memberships and extra benefits.

For example, Crypto.com's Level Up program offers three tiers for users – Plus, Pro and Private. There's a 30-day trial available to give you a chance to sample the benefits.

Rewards vary slightly depending on which tier you become a member of. Some of the rewards available at Plus level include:

You can top up the card using either cash from your bank account or by easily converting crypto from your Crypto.com account into the local currency.

Level-Up memberships are priced on a per-month basis. The Pro Level costs AU$6.99 per month, which equates to AU$84 annually.

4. Multiple payment options

Having flexibility around the way you deposit or withdraw money from your crypto account can make the trading process significantly smoother.

If you trade with Crypto.com, you're able to purchase crypto using several different methods:

• Fiat currency
• PayID transfers to your account
• Credit cards
• Debit cards

You're also able to easily convert your crypto to AUD and withdraw it via your preferred payment method.

5. Staking

Blockchains require quite a lot of processing energy. Transactions and record-keeping generally require the solving of complex algorithms for verification.

So to help speed up the process, certain types of cryptocurrency allow you to "stake" them.

This essentially means you're lending them back to their original blockchain to borrow their processing power.

In return, the "staker" receives rewards -- generally more of that particular cryptocurrency.

In practical terms, this means that you can earn more crypto passively. You can then use this to grow your portfolio, trade it for other crypto or even cash out.

Crypto.com's trading platform allows you to stake a range of cryptocurrencies, including SOL and ETH.

If you're a Private Level Up member, you can also earn an estimated 6.3% staking reward on CRO.

Security is an essential consideration for any crypto investor. So, it's always worth looking at what sort of security features a platform offers prior to signing up.

With this in mind, Crypto.com takes a user-first security approach.
