Finder is offering up to a $500 digital Visa card to eligible customers who switch their health insurance to HBF via the Finder Comparison Service. The reward amount depends on the eligible policy you choose. Offer ends on or before 15 April 2026.

How it works

Step 1

Create your Finder account

Sign up or log in to your Finder Member account.

Step 2

Get a quote and click through

While logged in, complete a health insurance quote on Finder and click the unique promotion link to HBF in the same session.

Step 3

Stay active and get rewarded

Purchase an eligible policy, pay via monthly or fortnightly direct debit and keep payments up to date. Once verified, you'll receive your digital Visa card by 14 August 2026.

Important: Eligible customers must (1) be new to HBF or not have held a policy in the last 60 days, (2) pay via monthly or fortnightly direct debit, (3) maintain their eligible cover until fulfilment, and (4) ensure Finder and HBF details (first name, last name and email) match exactly.

Eligibility at a glance

Who can participate?

  • Be a Finder member (create a free account if you're not one).
  • Be 18 years or older and an Australian resident.
  • Be a new HBF customer or have not held an HBF policy in the last 60 days (excluding dependants coming off a family policy).
  • Complete a health insurance quote and click the unique promotion link while logged in during the Promotion Period (12:01am AEDT 5 March 2026 – 11:59pm AEST on or before 15 April 2026).
  • The Eligible Cover must have a policy commencement (start) date within the Promotion Period.

Policy Requirements

  • Purchase an eligible Hospital, Extras, or combined Hospital & Extras policy.
  • Pay premiums monthly or fortnightly by direct debit and keep payments up to date.
  • Maintain your eligible cover until fulfilment (eligibility check: 15 July 2026).
  • Ensure your first name, last name and email address match exactly on both the Finder quote and your HBF policy signup.

Reward amounts

  • $500: Purchase any eligible Hospital cover + any eligible Extras cover together in one transaction.
  • $250: Purchase any eligible Hospital cover on its own.
  • $150: Purchase any eligible Extras cover on its own.

What is the promotion?

Finder is offering up to a $500 digital Visa card to eligible customers who switch to an eligible HBF health insurance policy via the Finder Comparison Service. The reward amount depends on whether you purchase combined Hospital & Extras, Hospital Only, or Extras Only cover.

When does the promotion run?

This offer runs from 11 March 2026 until on or before 15 April 2026, unless withdrawn earlier.

What rewards can I receive?

  • $500 digital Visa card for eligible combined Hospital & Extras purchased together.
  • $250 digital Visa card for eligible Hospital Only cover.
  • $150 digital Visa card for eligible Extras Only cover.

Only one reward is available per eligible policy purchased.

Who is not eligible?

  • Customers who:
    • are not a Finder member
    • sign for and start an Eligible Cover outside the Promotion Period.
    • sign up and start an Eligible Cover without using the unique promotion link on the Finder Comparison Service
  • Current HBF policyholders (excluding dependents coming off a family policy)
  • Members who pay premiums quarterly, half-yearly, or annually
  • HBF employees and their immediate family members eligible for HBF staff discounts
  • Customers who have redeemed an HBF promotional or save offer, or corporate discount, in the last 12 months
  • Any other offer or discount, except for the HBF new joiner offer. Reward cannot be claimed in conjunction with any other offer
  • Customers whose first name, last name and email address do not match exactly in the health insurance quote on the Finder Comparison Service and the purchase transaction on HBF's website
  • Members who join on a corporate policy eligible for a corporate discount
  • Members who join via a third-party broker or aggregator (excluding Finder)

How and when will I receive my digital Visa card?

  • The fulfilment eligibility check will occur on or before 15 July 2026.
  • If eligible, your digital Visa card will be issued by 14 August 2026.
  • You will receive an email with redemption instructions from Blackhawk Network.

What happens if I cancel or change my policy?

If you cancel, change or fail to maintain your eligible cover before the fulfilment date, you may forfeit your reward.

HBF have other offers in market, can I receive both the HBF offer & Finder reward?

An eligible new member may be entitled to both as long as the eligibility criteria is met. For more information on HBF new member promotions, check out hbf.com.au/terms-and-conditions/new-member-promotion.

What else should I know?

  • Finder is not recommending that you switch to HBF — ensure the policy suits your needs.
  • Finder may receive a commission if you switch.
  • The reward is limited to one per eligible policy purchased.
  • Blackhawk's terms and Finder's privacy policy apply.

I am a resident on a Visa, or with an interim medicare card, will I be eligible for the offer?

No, this offer is not available to those on a Visa.
