Global fintech Finder has been recognised as one of Australia's Best Places to Work for 2022 by The Australian Financial Review and Boss Magazine.

Finder ranked fifth in the banking, superannuation and finance services category from over 750 organisations nominated, behind Future Super, Wisr, Openpay and ANZ.

Finder was recognised for its innovative crew initiatives that demonstrate how the company "walks the talk" when it comes to its mission, vision and values.

An example of this is Finder's internal Speed Saving initiative which aligns with its mission to empower people to make better financial decisions. One-on-one sessions are set up for crew with internal experts on a range of topics from health insurance to home loans. As a result, 90% of crew say the initiative helps to improve their financial confidence.

Chris Ellis, CEO of Finder in Australia, says he is proud Finder has been recognised by AFR BOSS for being true to its mission and values.

"Finder is one of the few places I've worked where the company values are truly lived and breathed on a daily basis. They are not just listed on a poster on the wall. This recognition is a great testament to the people-first culture that has been instilled from the ground up over the last 15 years."

Last December, Finder introduced market-leading leave policies, including 20 weeks of gender-neutral paternity leave and 5 days of life leave, which can be used on everything from moving house to heartbreak.

"Our crew are the reason for our success, which is why we take a "whole-person approach" to making sure we support them in their lives outside of Finder too. In order for people to be their best, they must be allowed to bring their whole-selves to work."

AFR BOSS's annual list of the best places to work in the country, is based on a rigorous assessment process managed by behavioural science consultancy, Inventium. The methodology is underpinned by Inventium's Workplaces of the Future framework, which identifies 10 key factors that are critical to employees feeling motivated and engaged at work and is supported by extensive research.

This latest accolade adds to the recognition of Finder as one of Australia's best workplaces in 2020 and 2021 as part of a survey by research and consulting firm, Great Place to Work.

Finder is currently hiring for 71 roles, as the company continues to expand globally.
