As an early adopter of Bitcoin, buying his first coin in 2013, James Edwards has held a deep fascination with cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, decentralised finance (DeFi) and Web3 for over a decade. Since joining the industry in 2017, James has contributed to various publications including Nasdaq, The Street, and CoinDesk, offering insights on everything from industry news to market trends. He has reported at industry events such as TechCrunch Disrupt, CoinDesk Consensus and IBM Think and produced over 200 YouTube videos, including news segments, tutorials, deep dives, and interviews with thought leaders and pioneers in the crypto space, including Changpeng Zhao (CZ), Stani Kulechov, Kain Warwick, Tim Draper, Justin Sun, and Tone Vays. James holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts & Sciences in Psychology from the University of Sydney and a Tier 1 Generic Knowledge Compliance certification, which complies with ASIC’s guidelines for finance professionals. James created cryptocurrency content at Finder as a video producer, writer and editor from 2018 to 2023.
