Experian, the credit bureau used to generate your Finder credit score, has recently rebuilt its scoring model. As a result, you may notice your Finder credit score has changed.
What's changed?
Experian has changed how it weighs certain credit information when working out your credit score. Whilst the data used to calculate your score and your credit report information are unchanged, your numerical score may be different.
What do I need to do?
Nothing. Your Finder credit score will update automatically in the Finder app.
Why has Finder made this change?
We want to make sure that our members are getting the most accurate and up-to-date credit score information so that they can better understand their financial position and borrowing power.
My credit score has decreased. What should I do?
If your credit score has dropped, it may be worth revisiting your borrowing habits to ensure that you're not hurting your credit rating. If you want to rebuild your score, there are also a number of simple ways you can improve your credit score.
When you get your credit score through the Finder app, you'll unlock a bunch of extra benefits that are great for you and your financial health. You'll get your credit score automatically updated every month and you'll be notified if there's a change on your report. We'll also give you tips and tricks on how to improve your score.
Getting your credit score through the Finder app also unlocks one of our coolest features – chance of approval. Our chance-of-approval feature takes your credit score and asks you a few questions to help determine how likely you are to be approved for a credit card or personal loan before you even apply.
Getting your credit score through the Finder app is pretty easy.
You can set up your Finder Wallet directly from the app, just make sure you have your personal ID info handy:
Your identity should then be confirmed and your Finder Wallet will be ready to go. If your identity fails to be verified you may need to provide another form of ID. If you're still having issues, please reach out to us.
Once you've verified your identity and set up your wallet, you can then add funds to your account by following these steps:
Deposits made using PayID should appear in your Wallet immediately, but you may have to wait 1 business day for your first deposit to clear. If you deposited funds using bank transfer, you may need to wait up to 3 days for the funds to appear.
You can only use the funds deposited into your Finder Wallet account to purchase cryptocurrency through the in-app crypto exchange or withdraw it to a bank account in your own name.

You can currently buy and sell 13 cryptocurrencies straight from the Finder app, with no trading fees. These are:
No, cryptocurrency trading is completely fee-free in the Finder app. There are also no fees for depositing into your cash balance.
You can buy crypto by navigating to the "Crypto" tab. You will need to deposit funds into your cash balance before you can begin trading. To do so, head to the "Wallet" tab, press "Cash balance", then tap "Add cash" and follow the instructions.
If you want to withdraw your crypto to your personal wallet or address, you can do so by navigating to the relevant coin's screen and tapping "Withdraw". You can also reach out to us via the live chat in the app by heading to the "Settings" tab in your Finder app and tapping "Get support".
You can set up fee-free recurring trades for all tradeable coins directly in the app. For detailed instructions, check out our recurring trades guide.
Chance of approval is our handy tool that will let you know the likelihood of you being approved for a credit card or personal loan – all before you even apply!
To find out your chance of approval, all you have to do is connect your credit score to the Finder app. We'll then use this and ask you a few additional questions to help determine how likely you are to be approved.
To access the chance-of-approval feature, head to the home screen of the app and select the credit cards or personal loans box at the top. Here, you'll be guided through a quiz. After you've answered a few questions, you'll be taken to a screen with some products listed on it. Just select the section where it asks you if you want to unlock your chance of approval and voila!

I’m just wondering what happened to my credit history from 600 to now why is this I think I was on top of my repayments and stuff confused with this

We’re not licenced to provide personal advice on your specific situation. However generally, things that can impact your credit rating include making late payments consistently, only partly-paying your bills, or not making repayments at all.
If you have a concern about the accuracy of your credit rating, you can contact the credit reporting agency directly (ie Experian or Equifax) for a full copy of your report, and to request any errors or mistakes are removed.
