Raise Rich Kids Giveaway – Terms and Conditions
The Competition particulars are set out in the following schedule ("Competition Schedule"), which is incorporated by reference into and forms part of the General Competition Terms and Conditions at www.finder.com.au/about-us/general-competition-terms-and-conditions ("General Terms"). To the extent of any conflict in the terms of the Competition Schedule and the General Terms, the terms of the Competition Schedule will prevail.
Promoter: Hive Empire Pty Ltd (trading as finder.com.au) ABN 18 118 785 121 of Level 10, 99 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000 ("Finder").
1. Promotion Overview
Finder is offering eligible entrants the chance to win a prize bundle to celebrate the launch of How to Raise Rich Kids (the "Prize").
There is one (1) prize to be won. The total prize pool is valued at AUD $874.
2. Promotion Period
The promotion begins at 12:00am AEST on Monday, 12 May 2026 and ends at 11:59pm AEST on Monday, 26 May 2026 ("Promotion Period").
The winner will be drawn after the Promotion Period and contacted by 11:59pm AEST on Wednesday, 27 May 2026.
3. Eligibility
To be eligible to enter, you must:
- Be an Australian resident aged 18 years or over;
- Follow Finder’s official Instagram account (@finder.au);
- Follow Money Margarita’s official Instagram account (@moneymargarita); and
- Tag a friend in a comment on the giveaway post to enter – each friend tagged is another entry, up to a maximum of five (5) entries per entrant.
Employees (and their immediate families (being a spouse, parent, child, or sibling)) of the Promoter, related companies, agencies, and suppliers directly involved with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
4. How to Enter
During the Promotion Period, follow Finder’s Instagram page (@finder.au) and Money Margarita’s Instagram page (@moneymargarita).
Tag a friend in the comments to enter – each friend tagged is another entry, up to a maximum of five (5) entries per entrant. Tags must be of real accounts the entrant genuinely knows. Finder may, at its discretion, disregard tags that appear to be spam, bulk tags, fake accounts, or tags of accounts the entrant does not genuinely know.
5. Prize Details
The Prize bundle consists of:
- One (1) ninety (90) minute budgeting session with the author of How to Raise Rich Kids, valued at AUD $550. The session will be conducted via video call at a mutually agreed time within ninety (90) days of the winner being notified.
- Two (2) copies of How to Raise Rich Kids, valued at AUD $74.
- One (1) AUD $250 Visa gift card.
The total prize pool is valued at AUD $874.
The winner will be contacted by Finder to confirm the postal address for delivery of the book and gift card, and to coordinate scheduling of the budgeting session with the author.
The Prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable. The Visa gift card is subject to the issuer’s terms and conditions, including any expiry date and fees. The budgeting session is non-transferable and must be redeemed within ninety (90) days of the winner being notified. The prize will be forfeited if not redeemed within ninety (90) days.
6. Winner Selection & Communication
The prize draw will be conducted by Finder after the Promotion Period.
One (1) winner will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries received before the Promotion Period ends.
Finder will contact the winner via Instagram by 11:59pm AEST on Wednesday, 27 May 2026.
If the winner cannot be contacted within seven (7) business days, or cannot be verified, Finder may select a replacement winner. If, after reasonable efforts, a replacement winner cannot be identified, Finder will conduct an unclaimed prize draw in accordance with any applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
Finder’s decision on the winner is final, subject to any rights entrants have under applicable law.
7. Verification
Finder reserves the right to:
- Request proof of identity, age, and Australian residency;
- Disqualify any entry found to contain false, misleading, or incomplete information.
Failure to provide requested proof within seven (7) business days of being notified by Finder may result in forfeiture of the prize.
8. General Conditions
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
Finder may amend, vary, suspend, or cancel the Promotion where:
- required by law or by a regulatory authority;
- necessary to correct a manifest error in these terms;
- reasonably necessary for the fair conduct of the Promotion (including in response to fraud, technical failure, or circumstances outside Finder’s reasonable control); or
- reasonably necessary to protect the legitimate interests of Finder or entrants.
Where Finder amends these terms, it will publish the updated terms on the entry page and, where practicable, notify entrants. Any amendment will only apply prospectively.
Finder is not responsible for technical failures, call issues, or missed communications that prevent participation, except to the extent caused by Finder’s negligence or wilful misconduct.
Finder’s decisions in relation to the conduct of the Promotion and the selection of the winner are final, subject to any rights entrants have under applicable law. Entrants may raise queries or complaints by contacting Finder using the details in clause 13.
9. Privacy
By entering this promotion, you consent to Finder collecting and using your personal information to administer the competition, in accordance with the Finder Privacy Policy. Finder will only use your personal information for marketing or other purposes where you have separately opted in to receive such communications.
10. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy that you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be lawfully excluded, restricted, or modified ("Non-Excludable Rights"). If Finder is liable to you for a breach of a Non-Excludable Right in respect of services that are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic, or household use or consumption, Finder’s liability is limited (at Finder’s option) to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
Subject to your Non-Excludable Rights, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Finder (including its officers, employees, agents, related bodies corporate, and the author of How to Raise Rich Kids) is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage (including loss of profits, loss of opportunity, loss of data, or loss of goodwill) arising out of or in connection with the Promotion or the prize; and
- Finder’s total aggregate liability to any entrant in connection with the Promotion is limited to the value of the prize (AUD $874).
Budgeting session. The 90-minute budgeting session forms part of the prize and is provided as general information and educational content only. It does not take into account your personal objectives, financial situation, or needs, and is not personal financial product advice, tax advice, or legal advice within the meaning of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) or any other law. Before making any financial decision, you should consider whether the information is appropriate for your circumstances and obtain independent professional advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to your Non-Excludable Rights, neither Finder nor the author is liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of acting (or not acting) on information provided during the session.

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Entrants acknowledge that they are providing their information to Finder and not to Instagram. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding this promotion should be directed to Finder, not Instagram.
12. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
