1. PROMOTER

The Promoter of the Finder Innovation Awards People's Choice Awards ("People's Choice Awards") is Hive Empire Pty Ltd trading as Finder (ABN 18 118 785 121) of Level 10, 99 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000 ("Finder", "we", "us" or "our").

2. THESE TERMS

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern participation in, and voting for, the People's Choice Awards component of the Finder Innovation Awards ("Innovation Awards").

The People's Choice Awards are determined entirely by public vote and are separate from, and do not affect, the judged categories of the Innovation Awards, which are assessed independently by Finder's judging panel in accordance with the Finder Innovation Awards judging criteria.

By casting a vote, each voter agrees to be bound by these Terms and by the Finder Group Privacy & Cookies Policy (see clause 10).

3. CATEGORIES AND AUTOMATIC ENTRY

Each of the 23 award categories in the Innovation Awards has a corresponding People's Choice Award.

Every brand or product entered into the Innovation Awards is automatically included in the corresponding People's Choice Award category. No separate entry, application or fee is required.

A brand that does not wish to participate in the People's Choice Awards must opt out by written notice to awards@finder.com no later than 5 business days before the commencement of the Voting Period. Late opt-out requests will be considered on a reasonable-endeavours basis, but Finder is not responsible for votes already cast prior to any late removal.

4. VOTING PERIOD

Voting opens at 9:00am (AEDT) on 20 July 2026 and closes at 11:59pm (AEDT) on 14 August 2026 ("Voting Period"). Votes submitted outside the Voting Period will not be counted.

Finder reserves the right to extend, shorten or otherwise vary the Voting Period, acting reasonably and with reasonable notice on the Innovation Awards page where practicable.

5. WHO CAN VOTE

Voting is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or over.

The following are not eligible to vote in the People's Choice Awards or to participate in the Lucky Draw:

  1. employees and contractors of Finder and its Related Bodies Corporate;
  2. immediate family members (spouses, partners, parents, children, siblings) of persons described in (a)

Finder reserves the right to verify a voter's eligibility and to disqualify any vote or Lucky Draw entry it reasonably believes to be ineligible, fraudulent or otherwise made in breach of these Terms.

6. HOW TO VOTE

Voting takes place via the voting forms on the Finder Innovation Awards page.

Each of the 23 categories has its own dedicated voting form on the page.

Each voter may cast one valid vote per category, submitted using their email address. Voters may vote in as many of the 23 categories as they wish. Multiple submissions by the same voter in the same category will be treated as a single valid vote.

To submit a vote, a voter must complete the relevant category's voting form and, at the end of the form, provide a valid email address. The email address is used to (a) verify the vote, and (b) enter the voter into the Lucky Draw described in clause 8.

Each valid vote counts as one entry into the Lucky Draw. A voter who votes across multiple categories will receive one Lucky Draw entry per category voted in (up to a maximum of 23 entries).

Finder reserves the right to disregard, void or otherwise disqualify votes and Lucky Draw entries that it reasonably suspects are fraudulent, duplicated, submitted by automated means (e.g. bots or scripts), incomplete or otherwise made in breach of these Terms.

7. DETERMINATION AND ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS

The winner of each category's People's Choice Award is the eligible entrant that receives the highest number of valid votes in that category during the Voting Period.

People's Choice Award winners will be announced in early September 2026, alongside the winners of the judged Innovation Awards categories. The exact date will be published on the Innovation Awards page in due course.

Finder's decision as to the validity of votes and the determination of winners is final, and Finder will not enter into correspondence regarding that decision, except in the case of manifest error.

8. $250 LUCKY DRAW

In addition to the People's Choice Awards, Finder will conduct a random lucky draw ("Lucky Draw") from among all valid vote entries received during the Voting Period.

The prize for the Lucky Draw is one prize of AUD $250 Mastercard gift card awarded to a single winner, drawn at random from all eligible entries across all 23 categories.

The Lucky Draw winner will be selected at random and announced on the same day as the People's Choice Awards and judged category winners, in early September 2026.

The Lucky Draw winner will be notified by email using the address provided at the time of voting. If a winner cannot be contacted, or does not respond, within 28 days of the announcement, Finder reserves the right to draw again to select a new winner. The unclaimed prize will otherwise be forfeited.

9. MARKETING RIGHTS OF PEOPLE'S CHOICE WINNERS

Each People's Choice Award winner may reference its People's Choice Award title in its own marketing and communications, subject to the following:

  1. any such reference must clearly indicate that the outcome was determined by public vote and not by Finder;
  2. no reference may state or imply that Finder recommends, endorses, rates or has provided financial product advice about the winner's product or service;
  3. any use of the Finder name or marks must comply with any brand guidelines and usage restrictions notified by Finder in writing; and
  4. winners must not use the Finder name or marks in any way that is misleading, deceptive or otherwise contrary to Australian Consumer Law or, where applicable, the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and ASIC Regulatory Guide 234.

Finder may, on written notice, require a winner to modify or withdraw any marketing that does not comply with this clause 9.

10. PRIVACY

Personal information collected through the voting forms (including email addresses) will be collected, used, stored and disclosed by Finder in accordance with the Finder Group Privacy & Cookies Policy.

Voters will be given the option, separately, to subscribe to Finder's newsletter at the point of voting. Newsletter subscription is not required for a vote or Lucky Draw entry to be valid, and voters who choose not to subscribe will still be eligible to vote and to enter the Lucky Draw.

By voting, voters consent to Finder using their email address to verify their vote, administer the Lucky Draw, notify winners, and — where the voter has separately opted in — send Finder newsletter communications.

11. GENERAL CONDITIONS

Finder reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to amend these Terms, or to suspend, extend or cancel the People's Choice Awards or the Lucky Draw, at any time, including where required for legal, technical or security reasons. Any material changes will be published on the Innovation Awards page.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Finder excludes all liability for any loss (including indirect or consequential loss), damage or personal injury suffered as a result of participating in the People's Choice Awards or the Lucky Draw, except to the extent such liability cannot be excluded by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and each voter submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights a consumer may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.
