We reveal Australia's favourite alcohol brands for 2021/22
The Finder Retail Awards recognises Australia's favourite brands across a huge number of categories. We survey thousands of real Australians to understand how they feel about their recent product purchases, and use that information to reward the most popular brands.
These are the best brands for alcohol in the 2021/22 Awards.
Spirits categories
Best whisky brand: Archie Rose
Sydney-based distillery Archie Rose has beaten back competition from global giants to take out the coveted Best Whisky Brand award. With solid scoring across all areas, 97% of poeple recommended Archie Rose.

Best rum brand: Bundaberg
Australians love Bundaberg Rum, which is why it takes out this year's best rum Finder Award. Recommended by 97% of surveyed Aussies, Bundaberg Rum was top of the table for taste while also rating highly for its range and value for money.

Best tequila brand: Codigo
For the finest tequila, look no further than Codigo. It won the Finder Award for best tequila brand this year, scoring impressively high for taste and value for money.

Australia has a great variety of strong breweries, but Tooheys has come out on top for this year's Finder Award for best Aussie beer.

The Germans have a long history with beer, so it's no surprise that Beck's has taken home the Finder Award for best International beer brand this year, thanks to its taste and value for money.

Thailand's Chang beer has been rated the best Lager brand in this year's Finder Awards, rating highly for value for money and taste.

Recommended by 100% of surveyed drinkers, Coopers has taken out the Finder Award for best Pale Ale. The brand had the highest score for taste and range of products.

Best wine brand: Brown Family
Whether you want red or white, sparkling or rosé, Brown Family wines are a great choice. The brand has won the Finder Award for best wine brand, with the highest rating for taste and a 100% recommendation score.

Whispers is the best rated sparkling wine brand in Australia in this year's Finder Awards. The brand topped all brands for value for money, and was recommended by 94% of surveyed Aussies.

How we chose the winners
The 2021/22 Finder Retail Awards recognise brand sentiment from customer feedback on different retail product categories. Finder worked with data and insights company, Dynata to conduct thousands of customer interviews around their product purchasing history and satisfaction with their purchased products.
