Good morning,

I thought you might be interested in our August Cryptocurrency Predictions Report, which has just been released.

This month, 9 fintech leaders have provided their predictions on how the top 10 by market cap* and top 3 trending cryptocurrencies will perform in 2018.

Out of the 13 coins, our panellists predict that DigiByte (DGB) will experience the greatest growth by 31 December 2018 (132%). DGB’s price was $0.041 per unit on 29 July 2018, and is forecast to reach $0.13 by the year’s end.

EOS (EOS) is expected to have the second-greatest positive price growth by 31 December (131%), followed by IOTA (MIOTA) (123%).

Bitcoin (BTC) is predicted to hit $19,605 by the end of the year, slightly less optimistic than our panel’s July prediction of $21,228. This is again half of what the panellists predicted in January, at $45,278.

TRON (TRX) is expected to see the smallest growth by the end of the year at only 27%. This is the first month our panellists have predicted TRON to see the smallest end-of-year growth, after our panelists gave optimistic predictions in July for an increase of 342% by end of 2018.

As for short-term forecasts to 1 September 2018, DigiByte (DGB) and Dogecoin (DOGE) are expected to increase the most (42% and 36% respectively). The smallest increase comes from TRON at only 2%.

Comparing the forecast market capitalizations for bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Ethereum (ETH) – the only 3 of the 13 coins with reported number of coins available – Ethereum (ETH) is predicted to see the highest growth by the end of the year (101%). This is followed by bitcoin (BTC) with a 77% increase, and Bitcoin Cash (BCH), with an increase of 17%.
