Finder's New Year Financial Fitness Challenge
Finder is giving away an ALDI shopping spree up to the value of $1000 to celebrate the launch of its New Year Financial Fitness Challenge.
This competition is only open to Australian residents aged 18 and over, and ends 11.59pm AEDT 18/03/2024. One (1) winner will be announced on Finder's TikTok account and via email on 21/03/2024.

Terms & Conditions
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. By entering into the Competition, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the collection and processing of your personal information in accordance with the Finder Privacy Policy and the ALDI Privacy Policy.
Promoter
- The Promoter of the Finder New Year Financial Fitness Challenge ("Competition") is Hive Empire pty Ltd (ABN 18 118 785 121) of Level 10, Suite 45, 99 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000 ("Promoter").
Competition Period
- The Competition commences Monday February 19, 2024. Entries close 11:59pm AEDT Monday March 18, 2024, unless otherwise amended by the Promoter ("Competition Period").
- The Promoter reserves the right to close the Competition earlier without warning.
Eligible Entrants
- Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over and are a Finder member ("Eligible Entrants"). A "Finder member" is a customer of Finder who has created a Finder account on finder.com.au. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this Competition are ineligible to enter.
How to Enter
- This is a game of chance and no skill is required to enter.
- To enter the Competition, Eligible Entrants must during the Competition Period:
- Sign in to their Finder account on finder.com.au
- Head to the Finder Financial Fitness Challenge at https://www.finder.com.au/challenge
- Read at least one (1) module on the Finder Financial Fitness Challenge webpage and complete the quiz at the bottom of the module
- Each module and quiz completed is 1 entry into the Competition (maximum of 8 entries per individual)
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
- Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
- Multiple entries are permitted. A maximum limit of 8 entries are permitted per person. In the event of multiple entries, all will be valid and considered (up to the maximum limit).
Winner Selection and Notification
- One (1) winner will be selected based on a randomised barrel draw ("Prize Draw"), after meeting the entry and Prize Claim Date requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions ("Winner").
- The Prize Draw will occur at 9pm AEDT Thursday March 21, 2024. This will take place at the Promoter's office: Level 10, 99 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000. The results of the Competition are final and the Promoter will not entertain any correspondence on, or appeal against, the final results.
- The Winner will be notified on the following day of the Prize Draw via email, to the email address registered to the Winner's Finder account.
- The Winner is required to claim the Prize within 2 weeks of the Prize Draw ("Prize Claim Date"). Claim and redemption of the Prize is subject to the following conditions, which if unmet, will result in forfeiture of the Prize:
- Winner's participation in promotional activity related to the Competition, including without limitation, consent to being photographed and filmed in connection with the Competition and Prize, and the inclusion of their image and likeness in any form of media connected with such promotional activity; and
- Winner's written response to the Promoter's email with the following information:
- The suburb name and postcode of the Winner's primary residential address;
- Any reasonable adjustments or assistance required to the In-Store Spree due to any disability and/or impairment of the Winner.
- Winner's written response to the Promoter's email with the following information:
- Where the Winner fails to claim the Prize by the Prize Claim Date or is otherwise found to have not satisfied these Terms and Conditions, the Winner is deemed to have forfeited the Prize and the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, conduct a second (and where required, any subsequent) Prize Draw and select a new Winner on the day immediately after the Prize Claim Date.
- The Winner consents to being announced as the winner of the Competition and their name and state being published on the Promoter's website. Where there is no Winner or the Winner cannot be found, that fact will be published.
Prize
- The Winner will receive an ALDI shopping spree redeemable in-store only on the date and time and at the ALDI store location nominated by the Promoter ("In-Store Spree") and up to the value of $1000 (inclusive of GST) ("Prize").
- The Winner can transfer the Prize to a friend or family member if the Winner's primary residential address is more than twenty-five (25) kilometres from an ALDI store location. Where the Prize recipient nominated in place of, and by the Winner, also has their primary residence more than twenty-five (25) kilometres from an ALDI store location, the Promoter agrees to substitute the Prize with a gift card (determined by the Promoter at its sole discretion) to the value of $1000.
- The Prize cannot be converted into cash.
In-Store Spree
- The In-Store Spree must be completed solely by the Winner within three (3) minutes unless otherwise amended by the Promoter to accommodate or assist with any disability and/or impairment of the Winner that is notified to the Promoter prior to commencement of the In-Store Spree.
- The Winner agrees to comply with the following conditions for the duration of the In-Store Spree (and for a reasonable period before its commencement and after its conclusion on the nominated date):
- No more than two (2) tubs of baby formula may be purchased;
- Follow the reasonable instructions of ALDI staff, communicated prior to the commencement of the In-Store Spree;
- Only one (1) trolley may be used for the duration of the In-Store Spree; and
- Tobacco products, gift cards and alcohol are excluded.
- If the Winner is unable to participate in the In-Store Spree on the nominated date due to reasons of poor health, they can nominate an immediate family member to participate on their behalf. Notification must be received by the Promoter at least 12 hours before the time of the In-Store Spree otherwise the Winner is deemed to have forfeited the Prize.
- Upon confirmation from the Promoter (taking into account the Winner's preferences communicated to the Promoter upon claim of the Prize), the nominated date, ALDI store location and time of the In-Store Spree is fixed and cannot be changed.
- It is the Winner's responsibility to arrive at the nominated ALDI store location for the In-Store Spree. The Promoter is not responsible for any costs incurred by the Winner as a result of or in connection with travel to and participation in the In-Store Spree (including travel or accommodation expenses), other than the Prize.
- The Winner must arrive 30 minutes prior to the nominated start time to get briefed by ALDI staff. If the Winner has not arrived at the nominated ALDI store location for the In-Store Spree within 30 minutes of the arrival time designated by the Promoter, the Winner is deemed to have forfeited the Prize.
- Once the value of the goods selected by the Winner during the In-Store Spree has reached $1000 (inclusive of GST) at the checkout, the Winner will not be able to claim any further products, and the In-Store Spree will be over.
Liability
- Any cost associated with accessing the Competition website is the entrant's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
- Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a Winner or entrant; or (f) use of the Prize.
Miscellaneous
- The laws of the state of New South Wales govern the Competition.
- If this Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition, as appropriate.
- The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
- The Promoter may share personal information collected in connection with the Competition with the Promoter's related companies and its promotional partner, ALDI Stores (A Limited Partnership) ABN 90 196 565 019) ("ALDI"). The Promoter and its Australian related companies and ALDI may process such personal information in accordance with their respective privacy policies (for the Promoter, the Finder Privacy Policy and for ALDI, the ALDI Privacy Policy) and may contact Eligible Entrants with special offers and marketing about their respective businesses via any medium, including mail, telephone and commercial electronic messages (including email and SMS). By participating and providing personal information, each Eligible Entrant consents to the use of their personal information in this manner.
