With humble beginnings as a single retail store in Geelong, Victoria, Cotton On has grown to become an Australian retail powerhouse. The brand now has more than 1,300 stores across 17 countries, and the Cotton On group is one of Australia’s largest retail groups. It’s brands include Cotton On, Cotton On Body, Cotton On Kids, Typo and Rubi Shoes.
Cotton On is known for its modern, fresh twist on season staples like jeans, party dresses and coats. The pieces at Cotton On are simple, casual, cool and totally affordable. With a wide selection of apparel for men, women and kids, it's no surprise that Cotton On is one of Australia's most popular stores.

Any order that’s $55 or more will be shipped for free. Otherwise, it’s $10 per order for standard shipping within Australia and $14.95 for express orders.
Standard shipping to New Zealand is $10, and it’s $40 to everywhere else in the world. There is no express shipping available to addresses outside of Australia.
Returns are accepted within 14 days of purchase. You can return your unwanted items by post or by going to any Cotton On store in Australia.
To return an item via post, you’ll need to complete the return form that came with your items upon delivery and print out a postage label from returns.cottonon.com. Return postage isn’t free, so you’ll need to pay for that via the online system. Once Cotton On receives your package, the refund will be processed and the funds should appear in your account within three to five days after you hear from the company regarding your return.
To return an item at a Cotton On store, simply visit the store with the items you’d like to return and your proof of purchase (the packaging slip included in your order and the tax invoice emailed to you). You’ll have the option to exchange your unwanted items for something else or get a refund.
The products found in store may not always be the same as the products found online. Certain stores may sell out of a certain product before it sells out online, so you may see things online that are not in your local store. Also prices in store and online can be different as different stores may have different discount policies.
At this stage, Cotton On does not have a Click & Collect service. If you see something online and you would like to collect it in store, try calling your local store and seeing if they have it in stock. You can then ask them to hold it for you. Not every store will agree to hold stock, but some certainly will.
If your local store does not have the item you want, the store should be able to give you the location of another store that does.
Cotton On absolutely offers lay-by, but only in physical stores. Here is a copy of the Cotton On lay-by terms and conditions.
The best way to contact them is through their Customer Care Centre, via chat or email. But If you would like to contact a specific Cotton On store, then you can use the store finder here. Search for your store and it will provide you with the phone number of that store.
Cotton On does not have consistent opening and closing hours as each store needs to comply with hours set by its shopping centre management.
If you would like to know the hours of specific store you can search for the store using the store finder here and you can call them.
The Cotton On Foundation is an organisation working with Ugandan communities to build a healthy, sustainable future.
The Foundation began when the Cotton On Group started up a donation to complete the healthcare centre in a small village. The retail group then formed a partnership with the people of Southern Uganda, an area in need of a helping hand. Thanks to the generosity of Cotton On's customer, this partnership has expanded across Uganda and globally.
The Cotton On Foundation sells its own products in Cotton On stores an all the proceeds go back to the foundation to support those most in need. The projects funded by the Cotton On Foundation are based on four pillars; health, education, sustainability and infrastructure. All these projects are managed from start to finish by the Cotton On Foundation and are plotted out within a realistic timeframe and at the lowest operating cost.
The Cotton On Foundation aims to reduce poverty and improve the lives of those in need.
finder.com.au is one of Australia's leading comparison websites. We compare from a wide set of major banks, insurers and product issuers.
finder.com.au has access to track details from the product issuers listed on our sites. Although we provide information on the products offered by a wide range of issuers, we don't cover every available product. You should consider whether the products featured on our site are appropriate for your needs and seek independent advice if you have any questions.
Products marked as 'Promoted' or "Advertisement" are prominently displayed either as a result of a commercial advertising arrangement or to highlight a particular product, provider or feature. Finder may receive remuneration from the Provider if you click on the related link, purchase or enquire about the product. Finder's decision to show a 'promoted' product is neither a recommendation that the product is appropriate for you nor an indication that the product is the best in its category. We encourage you to use the tools and information we provide to compare your options and find the best option for you.
The identification of a group of products, as 'Top' or 'Best' is a reflection of user preferences based on current website data. On a regular basis, analytics drive the creation of a list of popular products. Where these products are grouped, they appear in no particular order.
Where our site links to particular products or displays 'Go to site' buttons, we may receive a commission, referral fee or payment.
We try to take an open and transparent approach and provide a broad based comparison service. However, you should be aware that while we are an independently owned service, our comparison service does not include all providers or all products available in the market.
Some product issuers may provide products or offer services through multiple brands, associated companies or different labelling arrangements. This can make it difficult for consumers to compare alternatives or identify the companies behind the products. However, we aim to provide information to enable consumers to understand these issues.
Providing or obtaining an estimated insurance quote through us does not guarantee you can get the insurance. Acceptance by insurance companies is based on things like occupation, health and lifestyle. By providing you with the ability to apply for a credit card or loan we are not guaranteeing that your application will be approved. Your application for credit products is subject to the Provider's terms and conditions as well as their application and lending criteria.
