Shipping guide for Zazzle
Your shipping will take a different amount of time depending on product you’ve purchased, and whether you’ve made an customisations to it or created it from scratch. There are four stages of your order status which you can track online: pending (where the order is in the manufacturing process), processed (in creation phase or waiting to be shipped), shipped or cancelled.
Once you place an order it’s generally processed within an hour. Most Zazzle products are manufactured within 24 hours of the order being placed, but other items, such as clothing, pillows, skateboards and wall decals, will take longer. High volume orders of 50 or more may need an additional two or three days on top of the regular manufacturing time. If you select express delivery, you will be able to track your order.
Zazzle refunds, exchanges and returns
Zazzle offers a 100% satisfaction policy, where if you’re not happy with the final product you receive you can return it within 30 days for a replacement or refund. This includes items that have been customised at the checkout.
If you receive a product that has been damaged or is defective in some way, you can take a photo of the item and email it to Zazzle’s customer support team. If the photo proves the defectiveness of the product then a replacement, refund or account credit can be arranged.
Zazzle provide a prepaid return shipping label in cases where items have been damaged. For other products that are being returned, you’ll have to foot the bill. If you need to organise a return of an item you can contact Zazzle’s customer support team through their online form.
About Zazzle and its history
Zazzle was started in 1999 by Robert Beaver and his two sons, Bobby and Jeff. They eventually launched the website in 2005 and have since grown into an internally-recognised and renowned business. They have a strong focus on design but also on their customers, with the site allowing users to upload their own designs and make a profit on the site for free.
The site is also technologically-focused, and has been recognised as such. In 2005 Google investors John Doerr and Ram Shriram invested US$16 million into the business, and in 2007 Zazzle was named Best Business Model by TechCrunch in its ‘Crunchies’ awards. In 2010 Zazzle were also recognised as one of Silicon Valley’s Hottest Companies by Lead411.
