Attention wrestling fans: WWE is about to get cheaper to watch in Australia
Here are all the changes coming to watching WWE from the end of the year.
Foxtel and WWE have announced a new multi-year partnership that will see the Foxtel Group's services become the exclusive home of WWE in Australia.
WWE content will be available across Foxtel, BINGE and Kayo.
What is the new WWE deal in Australia?
WWE will be available to all Foxtel iQ subscribers on both the FOX8 channel and on a new, dedicated 24/7 WWE channel.
Both these channels will screen WWE's premium live events, previously only available through pay-per-view at up to $30 each, at no additional charge to subscribers.
They will also air weekly live episodes of Raw, SmackDown and NXT.
Meanwhile BINGE will become the new streaming home of WWE Network in Australia with all WWE premium live events, including Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 39.
WWE Network's original programming and a collection of archived content will also be available on BINGE.
Selected WWE content will continue to be available via Kayo Sports.
When does the new WWE deal begin?
The new WWE channel will launch on Foxtel from December 2022.
The WWE Network will take up residence on BINGE from January 2023.
Some WWE content is already available on Foxtel and BINGE such as Raw, SmackDown and NXT.
How much do BINGE and Foxtel cost?
You can currently subscribe to BINGE from $10 a month.

To get WWE content on FOX 8 currently, you'd need to subscribe to the Foxtel Plus pack, which is $49 a month.
If you just wanted to access Foxtel via the internet and not using the iQ box, you can sign up to Foxtel Now instead.
To access WWE programs you'd need to sign up to the Essentials pack, which is $25 a month.

There is no word yet on which pack you'd need when the new WWE channel launches, but we'd expect it to be available with the base Plus and Essentials packs.
Kayo does also screen some WWE shows and subscriptions there start from $25 a month.

What's happening to the WWE Network in Australia?
There were no details on the WWE Network remaining as a standalone service in Australia.
You can subscribe to it for US$9.99 a month, which includes access to premium events at no extra cost.
We can assume that what happens in Australia will be similar to what has happened in the US, where streaming service Peacock is now the home of WWE Network content.
New subscriptions to WWE Network are no longer available in the US.
To continue to access WWE Network content in the US, you need to sign up to Peacock.
We'd assume that from January 2023, you would need to subscribe to BINGE to stream WWE Network in Australia as it would no longer be available on its own.
