We've rounded up the best travel deals on offer this leap year.

This is not a drill: the leap year is upon us and some of the biggest names in the industry are dropping deals for tours, cruises, hotels and flights.

Get in while you can! These offers only happen every four years.

1. Contiki: Get 29% off 29 tours in 2020

If you want to explore the world then leap into the new year with a Contiki tour. Your options are endless with some tours putting upwards of $1,000 back in your pocket.

So what's on offer? You could be skydiving in Taupo on the 14-day Kiwi Panorama Trip with a saving of $778 or explore the Austrian Alps via paraglide on the 18-day European Whirl Trip from $3,168 (that's a saving of $1,097).

2. Wotif.com: Save 29% or more on an array of stays

In the leap year spirit, Wotif.com is offering upwards of 29% off a number of hotels that range across Australia, New Zealand, England and Indonesia (just to name a few).

A 2-night stay at the Sydney Central Inn has been reduced to $171 (saving you 30%), Coast Boutique apartments in Bali are 49% off starting from $322 for 4 nights, and put 37% back in your own pocket with a 4-night stay at King's Cross apartments in London from $1,158.

The hotels don't stop there either with a 4-night stay at New York's The Wagner Hotel down to $1,743, a total saving of 31%.

Save up to 56% off the Le Wit or 30% off the Hotel Danemark in Paris, 75% off the Hope Land Hotel and 74% off the Centre Point Pratunam in Bangkok, or 45% off E&O Residences in Kuala Lumpur. Plus you can take an extra 6% off these discounts.

This one isn't around for long, so get in while you can.

4. TourRadar: Save up to 60% off tours

You won't be stuck on itinerary either! Head to Hobbiton while in Auckland, kick off a South Island road trip from Christchurch or visit the Botanical Gardens in Wellington. On average you could be paying $450 for a full-price airfare to New Zealand so this is saving you a hot dollar.
