If you're a casual fan of the Women's World Cup or maybe just want to follow the progress of the Matildas, you will be able to watch 15 matches for free on the 7 Network or stream on 7Plus.

They will have every Matildas game, the opening matches, round of 16 games, quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final.

Depending on the game, they may screen on either Channel 7 or 7mate, so check your local guides to see where you can find it on free-to-air TV.

Alternatively, you can stream the same 15 games on 7Plus.

The only caveat here is if you're a follower of any other football team besides the Matildas, then this may not be the best option for you.

Where can I watch the Matildas documentary?

In the lead up to the Women's World Cup, the documentary Matildas: World at our Feet was released. The docuseries follows the Australian women's football team as they work towards the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup on home soil.

The Matildas documentary is available to watch on Disney Plus, where you can sign up to the service for $13.99 a month. It doesn't have a free trial though.
