Where to find the best price on Call of Duty: Black Ops III in Australia

Matt Sayer 10 July 2017 NEWS

Keep your reflexes in top form with the wall-running, knee-sliding, and jetpack-boosting action of the shooter that refuses to die.

It's no secret Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC) didn't go down so well with long-time fans of the hugely-popular first-person shooter series. Space was one frontier too far for Call of Duty, costing it the sense of grounded realism previous entries had always maintained. Given how severe fan backlash was and how lacklustre sales have been, it's no wonder the series is taking a complete 180 with its trip back to WWII later this year.

Of course, that doesn't help you much if you've got a Call of Duty itch that needs scratching right now. Call of Duty: WWII isn't out until November, and Infinite Warfare's active player base is so low that you'd have trouble finding a match even if you wanted to. Worry not, though: Call of Duty: Black Ops III is still alive and kicking. Despite launching nearly two years ago--an eternity in Call of Duty time--the near-future FPS continues to maintain a dedicated player base many times larger than Infinite Warfare, likely due to its distinct lack of rocket ships and space stations. Even now, you can jump straight into a match and be gunning down fools in mere minutes.

As much as Black Ops III has going for it, though, the notion of paying full price for a 2-year-old shooter is hard to swallow, especially when it's going to be superseded for a second time in just a few months. Fortunately, you don't need to empty your wallet to secure a copy of the fast and furious FPS. We've bagged and tagged the best deals on Call of Duty: Black Ops III in Australia right here:
