Upright season 2 preview

When season 2 of Upright kicks off, it's been 4 years since Lucky and Meg last saw each other.

Lucky isn't doing so well, at least based on the trailer.

To his surprise, Meg shows up unannounced one day with a daring proposition: she's going to look for her mother and wants him to tag along.

He accepts, leading to another epic road trip for the mismatched duo, this time to Far North Queensland.

Tim Minchin (Californication) and Milly Alcock (House of the Dragon) reprise their roles from season 1.

The cast includes Heather Mitchell (Love Me), Ella Scott Lynch (Amazing Grace), Daniel Lapaine (Five Bedrooms), Asmara Feik (The True History of the Kelly Gang), Daniel Frederiksen (The Dry), Noni Hazlehurst (The End) and Jessica McNamee (Packed to the Rafters), among others.

Upright is the kind of heartfelt series that can make you laugh and cry, all in the span of a couple of minutes.

We expect season 2 to be nothing short of an emotional rollercoaster.
