Hello my name is peter byrne and currently I am with Amaysim unlimited for $44.90 a month and get 5gb of data and I run my computer off my phone
I collected one of your flyers on saturday and note you only charge $29.90 per month for unlimited
As I do not know anyone overseas I would be seeking an Australia wide coverage
My question is can I use the data you are offering to run my computer, I am not a big user of a comp and am on a pension
    Thank you
    peter byrne
p.s. Which company lines do you use, Telstra, Optus etc etc??

      Hi Peter,

While we aren’t Amaysim, we are a comparison service and can help you compare plans. It looks like the $29.90 unlimited plan includes 2GB of data, while the $44.90 plan includes 5GB of data. If you’re planning on using your mobile phone’s data for use on your computer, it’s important to take note of how much data you use each month before switching to a smaller plan as you may incur additional charges. It might be best to contact Amaysim directly for further details.

As for which company’s lines Amaysim uses, they operate on Optus’ network for their mobile services.

      Hope that helps,
      Alex

      Hi Vi,

      Thanks for your question.

Unfortunately we can’t recommend a specific brand or product to you. However, if you want to earn flybuys points, this program is directly linked to Coles.

You can read more about it here.

      All the best,
      Shirley

    Hi,

do you adviser on internet savings accounts. I came across one recently that offered 4% interest that you could operate from an Aussie current a/c. Can’t remember the name now sadly.
    Thanks

I would like to know the best bundle package for broadband plus home phone using the Optus network

    • Staff
      Marc | January 22, 2014

      Hello Dianne,
      thanks for the question.

The best package for you will depend on a range of factors, such as how much internet you use, how many calls you make, and more. I’d recommend first coming up with an estimate based on your current usage, and then conducting a comparison of bundle packages based on these figures.

      I hope this helps,
      Marc.

I thought the best thing would be unlimited for internet ADSL2+ and unlimited australian landline and mobile calls. I am unable to get the Telstra line through but the technician says that Optus is connected to my house. It is a new house for me. Based on this information what do you consider would be best. Many thanks, Dianne

      Hi Dianne,

      Thanks for your comment.

It’s probably best to compare other providers too – as well as Optus you may want to have a look at Dodo and TPG to see if you can get a more competitive deal. After you know what’s on market then you would be able to choose which plan is best for your needs.

      Cheers,
      Shirley

Tips for a cheap Kimberly W.A. holiday

    • Staff
      Marc | January 3, 2014

      Hi Kathy,
      thanks for the question.

I’d definitely start by comparing hotels and other locations you could stay using a travel site such as Expedia or Discover Australia. A quick google search should also bring up some suggestions to start with. You could also go down the route of using a travel agent – sometimes they can get their hands on discounted deals for you. Overall the best tip is to compare. Do some research about what kinds of rates you’ll be paying and the benefits you’ll get for the money you’re spending. Speak to those who have been there before if it’s your first time travelling and find out the best location your money will get you.

      I hope this helps,
      Marc.
