Where to watch Grey’s Anatomy online in Australia

Personal and professional relationships are hard to maintain when work means everything to a group of surgical interns and their co-workers.

Grey's Anatomy is a medical-based drama that has been running since 2005. The show has had continued success despite its alternating cast.

The main character, Meredith Grey, starts her internship at Seattle Grace Hospital, following in the footsteps of her mother who was one of the best surgeons in the USA and worked at the same hospital. The show follows her career along with the careers of her roommates, who are also interns at Seattle Grace Hospital, and the relationships they form. The serious amount of work and training involved with becoming a surgeon also proves to be a daunting task, with each character having some form of issue along the way.

Each episode is based around one of the character's patients.

To watch Grey's Anatomy online in Australia, have a look below. The show is currently in its 15th season.

Option 1: Grey's Anatomy on free-to-air

In Australia, new episodes of Grey's Anatomy air on Channel 7. Unfortunately, there's no word yet on when Season 15 will air Down Under. Season 14 premiered in Australia in January 2018, about 4 months after its US premiere. If that's the case with Season 15 as well, we should expect new episodes sometime around late January 2019.

Season 15 debuts with a 2-hour premiere. If you need a quick refresher, Arizona and April are no longer around, some new doctors are scheduled to join the hospital and Teddy revealed she is pregnant with Owen's baby in the Season 14 finale. Alex will be the new chief as Bailey takes a sabbatical and Meredith will be looking to revive her love life, with a little help from a friendly matchmaker.

Option 2: Purchase/rent

Grey's Anatomy fans aren't particularly lucky since the show is not available to stream in Australia. However, you can purchase individual episodes and seasons from digital retailers.

  • iTunes: Seasons 1–14
  • Google Play: Seasons 1–14
  • Microsoft Store: Seasons 1–14
