Mr Robot returns for season three and it's bringing the wonderful Bobby Cannavale along for the ride.

We've been holding our breath for the third season of Sam Esmail's incredible Mr Robot ever since the credits rolled on season two's brain-hurty finale. With season two, Esmail strung us along yet again, letting us think we were in control before dropping one of the most surprising revelations in TV history. Season two also brought with it one of the show's most intriguing players (and most talented performers) with Grace Gummer. And of course, in typical Mr Robot fashion, it left more questions than answers.

SEASON TWO SPOILER ALERT

Mr. Robot - Season 3

You've been visited by the SPOILER ALERT Bobby Cannavale

Now season three has landed and it's bringing Boardwalk Empire's Bobby Cannavale along for the ride.

Episode one is titled "eps3.0_power-saver-mode". We're guessing that has something to do with Elliot's recovery after taking a bullet in season two's closing moments.

Mr Robot season three has already kicked off in the US and will head to Foxtel (or Foxtel Now) tomorrow (12 October).
