The Bulldogs finished the 2019 NRL season in 12th place and did not qualify for the finals. For 2020, coach Dean Pay is hoping that new signings will translate to a stronger campaign. Their first two games, against the Eels and Cowboys, resulted in narrow losses.
The good news is star player Kieran Foran is just about recovered from shoulder surgery and ready to return to action.
While new players include Dean Britt (South Sydney) and Sione Katoa (Penrith), the most significant addition to the Bulldogs is Joe Stimson. Joining the Dogs of War from the Storm, Stimson is a versatile player who might give the Bulldogs a bit of an edge in the back row.
Bulldogs fans, we have some bad news if you hope to catch your games live and free on the Nine Network. Of their 18 games remaining in the new schedule, just 3 are on Nine, with 15 of them live and exclusive to FOX LEAGUE.

Alternatively, you can follow the Bulldogs with NRL Live Pass, available for free if you're a Telstra customer. Live streaming is limited to a seven-inch display size, so you can't watch on the big screen. If you're out and about often this might work for you.

Michael Lichaa, Danny Fualalo, John Olive and Nu Brown are out. Here's how the squad looks ahead of the 2020 NRL season.
The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs were admitted to the NSWRFL premiership, predecessor of the NRL, in 1935. They had a particularly strong run in the 80s, winning 4 premierships during that decade.
Overall, the club has won 8 premierships, with the most recent in 2004. They last made the grand final in 2014, but lost to South Sydney. The Bulldogs play their home games at ANZ Stadium with occasional games at their traditional base at Belmore Sports Ground.

When products are grouped in a table or list, the order in which they are initially sorted may be influenced by a range of factors including price, fees and discounts; commercial partnerships; product features; and brand popularity. We provide tools so you can sort and filter these lists to highlight features that matter to you.
We try to take an open and transparent approach and provide a broad-based comparison service. However, you should be aware that while we are an independently owned service, our comparison service does not include all providers or all products available in the market.
Some product issuers may provide products or offer services through multiple brands, associated companies or different labelling arrangements. This can make it difficult for consumers to compare alternatives or identify the companies behind the products. However, we aim to provide information to enable consumers to understand these issues.
