2020 NRL preview: Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs team guide

A mix of youth and experience may help the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs make the top 8 this year.

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs

The Bulldogs finished the 2019 NRL season in 12th place and did not qualify for the finals. For 2020, coach Dean Pay is hoping that new signings will translate to a stronger campaign. Their first two games, against the Eels and Cowboys, resulted in narrow losses.

The good news is star player Kieran Foran is just about recovered from shoulder surgery and ready to return to action.

While new players include Dean Britt (South Sydney) and Sione Katoa (Penrith), the most significant addition to the Bulldogs is Joe Stimson. Joining the Dogs of War from the Storm, Stimson is a versatile player who might give the Bulldogs a bit of an edge in the back row.
