Despite killing it in the release game this year, MAC Cosmetics is still not letting up. The latest sneak peek to bless our Instagram feeds has been none other than a gorgeously pastel pink set from the MAC Lunar New Year collection that will have you hoping 2018 comes even faster!

With pink and white ombré packaging, the collection is already differentiating itself from the regular MAC line-up – and frankly, we're 100% in favour. The collection looks to include an eyeshadow palette with nine shades, four rose and red toned lipsticks, and a highlighter/blush combo that we're very curious about.

The entire collection definitely has a very feminine, pastel feel to it. The rose tones of the lipsticks and pale pink blush are subtle enough to work with any look, but definitely appear buildable enough to create something bold.

Where can you buy the MAC Lunar New Year collection?

Though there was speculation at first that the collection was an Asia exclusive, there has since been word that the MAC Lunar New Year collection should at least be available in the US, though no word yet on an Australian release. But if you think that means you can't get your hands on it here, think again.

Thanks to freight-forwarding services like MyUS and Shopmate, if the collection goes live in the US in 2018 you'll still be able to order one through the US website and have it shipped to you here in Australia. The services operate by simulating a US postal address, and then once the package arrives there, it gets forwarded straight on to you here!

There's still hope that the collection will land in Australia at some point in the New Year, but in the meantime rest assured that you won't be missing out. After all, the 2017 New Year collection went international!

In the meantime, if you're keen to get your hands on some MAC Cosmetics goodies, check out MECCA, David Jones, Myer and the MAC website for more great launches – from Patrick Starr's collection to the Sia red lipstick, there's plenty on offer.
