Your first look at the Kat Von D Beauty x Divine collaboration
Feast your eyes on the bright, bold collaboration between Kat Von D Beauty and drag icon Divine.
Kat Von D Beauty is making huge waves with its regular sneak peeks and big-name collaborators lately, but there's nothing quite as big and bold as this new collaboration with Divine.
As a huge drag fan herself, it was only a matter of time before Kat Von D merged that appreciation with her love of all things beauty, especially when drag looks can inspire some really exciting and striking products.
Revealed on Instagram earlier, the sneak peek coincided with Divine's birthday, who posted saying it was "The BEST birthday gift ever!" We also got a sneak peek of the photoshoot for the reveal, featuring Kat Von D modelled after Divine with a blonde wig, iconic blue eyeshadow and of course, massively arched brows.
From the looks of things, the collaboration will include an eight-shade eyeshadow palette and a lime-cased Studded Kiss Lipstick. The palette will definitely have you arching those brows for maximum eye impact, so it's lucky that the in-built mirror has the iconic Divine arches already printed on! There's no shyness with the Divine palette, with a vivid neon green and a glittery blue that will have everyone staring.
The eyeshadow names harken back to all things drag and Divine, including Babs, Hard Magic, Baltimore, Waters, Filthy, Pink Flamingo, Female Trouble and Hairspray. While we don't have a name yet for the lipstick, it's vivid lime packaging and nude tone definitely have us intrigued.
The collaboration isn't due for release at Sephora until February, but in the meantime, there are a few other Kat Von D Beauty products you'll want to get your hands on. The Saint + Sinner palette and original Kat Von D Beauty collection, available now at Sephora, will definitely tide you over until February.
Don't forget that there will also be a few more Kat Von D Beauty releases in the near future. Not only are there new palettes on the way (the Mini Alchemist palette and the Metal Crush highlighter palette), there's an upcoming eyeliner collaboration with Green Day's Billie-Joe Armstrong in the pipeline too!
Stay tuned for more details.
