This has to be one of the most underrated tanning brands on the market that's perfect for sensitive skin.

Fake tan is a booming market and also an incredibly popular and over-saturated product industry. There are so many different types and formulas of tan on the market that it's easy to get choice anxiety or maybe you've just been using the same product for years and are open to something new.

Allow me to introduce you to the tanning brand, Australian Glow. I'd never heard of them before but after trying their products I don't understand why more people aren't talking about them.

About the brand

The label has over 250,000 followers on Instagram and its products are made with nourishing organic ingredients and are vegan and cruelty free. The bottled packaging is manufactured using Ocean Waste Plastics (OWP), which means less plastic is produced and doesn't end up in the ocean. So basically, it ticks the ethical boxes.

The review

Ultra-Fine Facial Bronzing Mist ($24.99)

I've tried my fair share of face tanners and they tend to be pretty hit or miss. Some face tanners can sink into your pores, cause breakouts or go super patchy after a couple of days.

The Ultra-Fine Facial Bronzing Mist is not only a soft, beautiful formula but it's stupidly easy to use. I use the mist after finishing my evening skincare routine, go to sleep and voila, you've got a gorgeous tanned face. It's not a super aggressive shade either but a lovely radiant glow that looks very au naturale. You can build it into a deeper tan with more frequent applications but I give my face a spritz every 2-3 days to maintain the glow.

The formula is super-quick-drying and is also infused with rose water for skin hydration and a lush, soothing feeling on the skin.

The Hydrating Self Tanning Water Mousse ($24.99)

After trying this product I refuse to use traditional tanning mousses anymore. I have super dry and sensitive skin thanks to my eczema. A lot of tans end up sticking to dry patches or I end up looking like one of those tiger loafs after a couple of days.

HOWEVER, this tanning water mousse is quite literally the longest lasting most natural tan I've ever had the pleasure of using. Simply apply with a mitt and that's it. Like the mist, it's quick drying, I sleep in it and again voila, wake up with a flawless, glowing tan. You don't need to wash it off and you're still left with a deep olive tan that lasts incredibly well.

The only thing that's tricky about tanning water is that there is no colour guide so you've got to make sure you get everywhere or you may end up with a paler patch of skin that you missed.

Everyday Gradual Tanning Lotion With Hemp ($19.99)

Gradual tanning products don't get as much hype as they deserve. Not only do they build up to a beautiful tan but they make your existing tan last longer and keep your skin moisturised. What more could you ask for?

This particular gem is formulated with certified organic hemp, which is proven to nourish dry skin without clogging pores and helps balance out oily skin by regulating natural oil production. Basically, it's magic in a bottle.

The final verdict

I've tried Bondi Sands, Loving Tan, Le Tan, Bali Body Tan and many others and these products may just take the top spot. The colour is super natural, the application process is easy and the products are incredibly affordable compared to some other items on the market.

These natural products are gentle on the skin and fade gradually over time meaning you don't have to spend time scrubbing away old tan in the shower. Every product also leaves your skin feeling super hydrated so if you suffer from dry skin these products are a god-send.

Would I repurchase these items? 100% yes.
