No prizes will be awarded for guessing which service Getflix are interested in connecting you with. Getflix is a VPN that specialises in connecting users with streaming video services that would otherwise be blocked. To be technical, it’s called Geo-blocking, and Getflix, like all other VPN providers, gets around it by re-routing your internet through a server in a different country, making the internet think you’re somewhere you’re not.
And if you're happy with the trial, can you get up to 30% off for your annual subscription.

Getflix is very specific (hence the name) on getting you access to online video streaming services, so if that’s what you’re after then they might be the right fit for you.
Getflix is easy to use, but the set up varies greatly depending on which device you want the service for. Thankfully, their website has really clear, easy to follow guides, so no matter which device you want Getflix on, there will be someone there to talk you through how to do it.
Getflix is available on everything from the usual suspects (Windows, Mac and Android etc) to lesser used plug ins like Apple TV and Roku, and many of the latest generation of games consoles.
They’re built around streaming, and since that is one of the most popular uses of VPNs, that is a huge tick in their column. Their website, however, is quite complicated and details a lot of information about what is and what isn’t available on certain devices. So if you know exactly what you want to watch with your VPN, then I would take a look at their website and make sure that what you want is completely covered.
Back to topA Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a way to allow internet users to access content that is restricted by their location. In the case of Getflix, it can be used to access the US version of Netflix. It does this by re-routing your devices Internet Protocol (IP) address, through a server in a different country, which basically makes the internet believe you are in that country. It has a few other benefits outside accessing location restricted content, including increased security and no tracking.

Hi, I am thinking of getting NBN connection at home but will this change my ability to use my Getflix account? And if this does change, am i able to get around this to use my Getflix anyway? Thanks
Hello beckmeh45,
Thank you for your question.
In theory, it should not affect your Getflix subscription by simply switching to NBN. Although there may be a possibility that your new provider won’t allow third party DNS on their servers.
Therefore, it is important to include this on your NBN application inquiry if you’re scouting for options.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Jonathan
Thanks for your reply to my question. And in response to your reply, if I ask my provider if they allow third parties for DNS, won’t this be particularly suspicious in my intentions? Lol
Thanks
Hello Beckmeh,
Thank you for getting back on your inquiry.
There are several legitimate reasons on why VPNs are being used. Most of the users are primarily using it for work if they have remote arrangements. Should you don’t feel comfortable answering this question to your provider, you may tell them that it is for personal business matter only.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Jonathan
