Why we love this product

Our beauty product of the week this week is not one product, but four. We're absolutely loving Benefit's brand new brow shades.

As is well known, Benefit is the leader in the brow category. From pencils to powders, Benefit has some of the most fabulous brow-enhancing products on the market. Its two pencil products, Goof Proof Eyebrow Pencil and Precisely, My Brow Eyebrow Pencil are certainly two favourites in the range. I have used both and can vouch that they are fantastic products.

So we were very excited to hear that Benefit had decided to extend the shade range available for these two products. Benefit very recently released 4 brand spanking new shades taking the number of colours from 8 to a more inclusive 12.

The new shades are 2.5 Neutral Blonde, 2.75 Warm Auburn, 3.75 Warm Medium Brown and an off-the-scale shade called Cool Grey. Most of the new shades cluster around the middle of the shades spectrum, giving those with different hair tones and complexions a better choice of brow colours. Our editorial team gave them all a try and we were totally impressed with what we saw.

The new blonde colour is a great option for blondes who prefer a darker ashy tone. The auburn shade has a pretty red undertone and looks fab on redheads and brunettes that want more warmth in their brows. The medium brown colour is a match for darker brunettes and ideal for anyone who loves the original 3.5 shade but wants more depth. The grey tone was the most interesting colour to try. Of course, it's perfect for those with grey hair but it's also a fabulous option for anyone wanting to add more of an ashy tone to their brows. If you've got warm-toned brows but want them to be cooler, this will help you achieve your look.
