Hotels can be expensive and sometimes they require you to pay for them in advance of your stay. If you're waiting for your next paycheck but need to book asap some hotel booking sites and chains now give you the option to use zipMoney.
This "book now pay later" service is owned by ZipCo which also offers ZipPay but is dedicated to larger purchases over $1,000+ (ZipPay is geared at purchases under $1,000 and for this reason isn't typically offered by hotels).
The way it works is similar to a layby where you can make your purchase now and pay it back in installments over a set period of time.
ZipMoney itself offers 0% interest for the first 3 months however beyond that any remaining balance will incur interest. Other fees incurred from its use include an establishment fee which varies from $0-99 and a $6 monthly account keeping fee, which is waived if your account balance is $0. There is also a minimum monthly repayment is $40. Skip this and you may also be hit with late-payment fees or your account may be locked.
Here's a list of hotel sites that currently accept ZipMoney for your stay:

How does zipPay work?
zipPay and zipMoney are available on sites across the web where the symbol is displayed at checkout. They both offer interest-free options for purchases.
You can sign up for zipPay or ZipMoney at checkout and, if approved, will be able to make purchases instantly.
You will be given online credit to make purchases with the option to pay it back interest-free in weekly, fortnightly or monthly payments with zipPay.
As zipMoney focuses on larger purchases, it offers payment periods set in 3, 6 or 12 months, depending on what you're approved for and what the merchant allows. This service acts like a loan so if you fail to complete your purchase within the interest-free period your remaining balance will accrue interest at a standard annual percentage rate.
Establishment and monthly fees also apply with zipMoney. For more information, consult the terms and conditions.
