After a long, long wait, Australian customers have finally been given access to Zara online. For those who live too far away from Zara Australia’s limited store locations, this was some of the best news ever.
If you’re looking to start shopping at Zara’s stylish new online store for Australians, here are all the things you need to know before adding your items to cart.
How long does delivery take? Is there express or same-day shipping?
If you live in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra or Brisbane, good news! You’ll get next-day delivery on orders placed before 4pm Australian Eastern Standard Time.
Unfortunately if you live outside of these cities, you won’t be able to access the next-day delivery service but you’ll still see your order in 2-4 business days – which ain’t bad considering the Australia Post standard for regional areas is up to 12 days.
There is no express option since standard delivery is considered express, but Zara Australia does offer a same-day shipping service for Sydney. Orders placed Monday to Friday before 2pm will be delivered between 6pm and 9pm that same day. Delivery addresses for this service must be residential.
If you’re using drop point shipping, you can expect your order within 1-4 days.
What are the shipping rates?
Delivery is free for orders over $75 and costs $7.95 otherwise.
Same-day delivery will set you back $12.95 and drop point is free for orders over $75 and $7.95 otherwise.
You’ll have 30 days from the date of your shipping confirmation email to return unwanted items. Zara accepts change of mind returns and of course it also accepts faulty returns in accordance with Australian consumer law.
If you have changed your mind about an item, you’ll need to return it in the same condition you received it. Zara does reserve the right to deny change of mind returns for hygiene reasons or if the item is in bad condition. So be careful with your stuff! Don’t remove tags and try shoes on inside, preferably on carpet.
Head online to the “my account” section of the site to start a return. At Zara Australia online, all returns are free! You’ll be sent a label to attach to your parcel which you can return at the post office.
You can also organise an exchange online; just select the relevant field when initiating your return online.
Can I return online purchases in-store?
Of course. As long as you bought your Zara item at Zara Australia online, you can return it to a Zara Australia store location. You can also exchange your item in-store
Does Zara Australia online have a click and collect service?
Yes it does. You can select store delivery when you shop online at Zara.
Your order will take 1-4 business days to arrive in your chosen store. You’ll receive a text message when your order arrives and you’ll have 15 business days to pick it up. Make sure you bring your text notification and online order information with you when you come to collect.
What methods of payment does Zara Australia online accept?
Zara Australia online accepts the usual forms of payment, namely Visa, Mastercard and American Express. It also accepts PayPal, JCB, UnionPay, Apple Pay and Zara Australia gift cards.
Does Zara Australia online offer gift cards and gift receipts?
You can buy Zara gift cards online or in-store. When purchasing a gift card online, you can select a digital gift card or choose for a physical card to be delivered to you. You can use digital gift cards to pay in-store – just show the clerk the gift card number.
You can also choose a gift receipt. This is where you can have items mailed to someone as a gift and no prices or pricing information will be shown. You also have the option of adding a personalised message. The gift receipt will also allow the receiver to return these items in-store or online for a voucher.

Important information about this website
finder.com.au is one of Australia's leading comparison websites. We compare from a wide set of banks, insurers and product issuers. We value our editorial independence and follow editorial guidelines.
finder.com.au has access to track details from the product issuers listed on our sites. Although we provide information on the products offered by a wide range of issuers, we don't cover every available product or service.
Please note that the information published on our site should not be construed as personal advice and does not consider your personal needs and circumstances. While our site will provide you with factual information and general advice to help you make better decisions, it isn't a substitute for professional advice. You should consider whether the products or services featured on our site are appropriate for your needs. If you're unsure about anything, seek professional advice before you apply for any product or commit to any plan.
Products marked as 'Promoted' or 'Advertisement' are prominently displayed either as a result of a commercial advertising arrangement or to highlight a particular product, provider or feature. Finder may receive remuneration from the Provider if you click on the related link, purchase or enquire about the product. Finder's decision to show a 'promoted' product is neither a recommendation that the product is appropriate for you nor an indication that the product is the best in its category. We encourage you to use the tools and information we provide to compare your options.
Where our site links to particular products or displays 'Go to site' buttons, we may receive a commission, referral fee or payment when you click on those buttons or apply for a product. You can learn more about how we make money here.
When products are grouped in a table or list, the order in which they are initially sorted may be influenced by a range of factors including price, fees and discounts; commercial partnerships; product features; and brand popularity. We provide tools so you can sort and filter these lists to highlight features that matter to you.
We try to take an open and transparent approach and provide a broad-based comparison service. However, you should be aware that while we are an independently owned service, our comparison service does not include all providers or all products available in the market.
Some product issuers may provide products or offer services through multiple brands, associated companies or different labelling arrangements. This can make it difficult for consumers to compare alternatives or identify the companies behind the products. However, we aim to provide information to enable consumers to understand these issues.
Providing or obtaining an estimated insurance quote through us does not guarantee you can get the insurance. Acceptance by insurance companies is based on things like occupation, health and lifestyle. By providing you with the ability to apply for a credit card or loan, we are not guaranteeing that your application will be approved. Your application for credit products is subject to the Provider's terms and conditions as well as their application and lending criteria.
Please read our website terms of use and privacy policy for more information about our services and our approach to privacy.
