Beauty product of the week: Youth To The People Triple Peptide + Cactus Oasis Serum review
This new 3-in-1 serum is the holy trinity of hydration.
Youth To The People is a cult-fave brand that consistently gets rave reviews and pops up in best product round-ups on TikTok. So when the brand announced that its new Triple Peptide + Cactus Oasis serum was finally coming to Australia, you best believe my dehydrated skin was fanging for it. Consider me influenced.
About the product
This new Youth To The People serum is a 3-in-1 serum that hydrates, plumps and firms the skin instantly. It's suited to all skin types, but is especially fab for dry skin that's in need of some hydration. If your skin is on the oily side, it can help even your skin's moisture.
The active ingredients include 4 types of hyaluronic acid for hydration, 3 types of bio-peptides for bouncy skin plus cactus stem and rambutan peel to lock in moisture. While I wouldn't usually associate a cactus with smooth skin, cacti are rich in antioxidants and fat-soluble vitamins which help retain moisture in dry conditions.
The product is 100% vegan, cruelty-free and doesn't contain fragrances, parabens or silicones.
You can shop the Youth To The People Triple Peptide + Cactus Oasis Serum at Sephora for $83.
The review
Youth To The People Triple Peptide + Cactus Oasis Serum | $83
I've been using the Youth To The People Triple Peptide and Cactus Oasis Serum in my morning and night-time routines for the last 4 weeks.
After cleansing and before moisturising, I apply 2 pumps to my face and neck each morning and night. Immediately my skin feels firmer and looks more hydrated. It's also a lightweight gel consistency that feels soothing and cooling on the skin. It's giving glazed donut realness and I love it.
It only takes a few minutes to soak into your skin, but leaves your complexion with a dewy finish that acts as a gorgeous base under makeup. As it doesn't contain silicones, it doesn't cause your foundation to pill either.
I have quite sensitive skin, but like most topical hyaluronic acid products it's not super intense and won't get that tingling feeling you get from stronger active ingredients. Because of this, I also love using it around my eyes and targeting the pesky fine lines that have taken up residency there.
$83 is pricey, but you only need 1 or 2 pumps each time and a little bit goes a long way. After using it for a month, I've still got two-thirds of the bottle left.

Final verdict
I am really impressed with the new Youth To The People Triple Peptide and Cactus Oasis Serum. It's easy to use, feels so soothing and has done wonders for my usually very dry skin. While I was gifted the Youth To The People serum to try, it's currently the highlight of my skincare routine and I'd absolutely fork out the $83 to buy it in the future.
