Moisturising your skin is incredibly important. Everyone knows that. However, finding a moisturiser that actually works and doesn't need to be reapplied every few hours is a little hard to find too.
When the Youth To The People Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream landed on my desk I have to admit, I hadn't heard a whole lot about the brand. I did know of them but hadn't tried any of the brands' products. This product has 800 reviews on the Sephora US site and has 4.8/stars and 10K loves. Safe to say, my expectations were high.
The formula of this product is super light and feels incredible on the skin. It doesn't really have a strong scent to it but I like that as I do have sensitive skin.

My personal skin type is quite dry because my body just likes to be difficult. However, this moisturiser really gave it a talking to. As soon as I applied the cream I could immediately feel my skin soaking it up and I barely used any of the product. It showed that a little of this product goes a long way, which is great given it's a little on the expensive side. For me, it shows that you get more bang for your buck and that's a huge tick.
What makes this product so interesting is the fact that it contains really unique ingredients. The cream contains Adaptogen which you can actually take as a supplement. It helps to balance your stress levels out and damn, we all know we can use some of that in our lives. The mushroom ingredients help to calm the skin when faced with daily stressors like UV rays and environmental pollutants. Plus, the pentapeptide calms the stress reaction in sensitive and irritated skin, which is fabulous for my eczema.
I also used this product while I'd gotten a pretty nasty sunburn on my face because the Australian sun is just plain aggressive. This product was incredibly soothing but also hydrated my skin and stopped it from peeling. I definitely feel like this will also be a huge go-to product during winter when your skin is a victim of the cold harsh wind.

My favourite part is the fact that even though it is a deep moisturiser it isn't thick or greasy on the skin. It's lightweight, absorbs quickly and leaves your skin feeling nourished.
It's not just sensitive or dry skin that this is suited to either. It literally works on oily skin, acne prone skin and combination skin too. Below are a few on-site reviews of the product if you don't want to take my word for it either.
By this point, I'm sure you're completely sold on this product and need to try it immediately. Well, there is good news and bad news. At the moment, this moisturiser isn't available in Sephora AU.
The good news? The Youth To The People Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream will be launching online and in-store at Sephora on the 20 February. Yes, feel free to squeal with excitement. If the price tag has you umming and ahhing then you can Afterpay your purchase online at Sephora and have the cost split into four fortnightly installments. Just make sure you don't miss a payment or you'll receive a fee.
