You’ll fall in love with these two Disney-inspired makeup collaborations
Keeping reading for more info on when and where to buy.
This week has been a big one when it comes to makeup collaborations. We've just heard about not one but two exciting Disney-inspired makeup collections that will hit the shelves this year. L'Oreal will be releasing a colour cosmetics collection inspired by Beauty and the Beast and Lorac will be creating a makeup line inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean.
In the lead-up to the release of the live action Beauty and the Beast film starring Emma Watson, L'Oreal has created a 14 piece collection: seven lipstick shades with seven matching nail polishes that have been influenced by seven characters from the film. Of course there is one for Belle and one inspired by The Beast, and then there are also shades for Cogsworth, Lumiere, Mrs. Potts, Plumette and The Rose.
L'Oreal has yet to officially announce the collaboration but we've seen this news pop up on several reputable beauty news channels. According to TrendMood, the collab will be available on Amazon this month. Stay tuned for more.
As for the Lorac Pirates of the Caribbean collab, this one has been officially confirmed by the brand. Lorac took to Instagram yesterday to announce the news stating: "We are thrilled to announce #LORAC will be heading to the high seas with @disneystudios. The trailer premiere has us feeling giddy already! So excited to see the collection at @ultabeauty and other fine retailers. There is much more coming soon."
The collection has been inspired by the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean reboot Dead Men Tell No Tales. So far all we've seen is what appears to be a makeup palette but we can expect to see a range of colour cosmetics emerge as more details are released.
