Yellowjackets premiered in 2021 to critical acclaim and quickly built a dedicated fanbase eager to solve the show's many mysteries.

The second season of Yellowjackets premieres in Australia on Friday 24 March at 3pm AEDT.

Yellowjackets season 2 preview
Part survival series, part coming-of-age drama, the show revolves around a group of teen girls who survive a plane crash in the 90s but spend months struggling to make ends meet in the wilderness.
At the same time, we catch up with the characters who are alive in present day, still haunted by what happened all those years earlier.
The show's season 1 finale raised a whole lot of questions we hope to see addressed in season 2.
For a quick recap, adult Nat was kidnapped by a mysterious cult, Jackie apparently froze to death after a fight with Shauna, adult Taissa won the election and young Lottie offered a bear heart as a tribute to the wilderness.
We don't know much about where season 2 is going, but we can pretty much guarantee that Yellowjackets will continue to deliver twists and turns as the new episodes unfold.
One thing seems to be for sure: Lottie and Van are alive in present day.
Simone Kessell (Obi-Wan Kenobi) joins the Yellowjackets season 2 cast as adult Lottie, while Lauren Ambrose (Servant) will portray adult Van.
Additionally, Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings trilogy) will guest star as a fellow citizen detective who connects with adult Misty.
The show has already been renewed for season 3, so there's even more gore, angst and trauma in store for both the teen and adult versions of the characters.
We're not complaining one bit.
