Woolworths Rewards 3,000 bonus points deal

Boost your Qantas Points with two separate offers this week.

There are 3,000 points of potential bonus Woolworths Rewards points in gift card deals this week. The $50 L'Occitane and "Ultimate For Him" gift cards reward you with 1,000 points and the $100 Accor Hotels and Ticketek gift cards come with 2,000 points when purchased at the supermarket.

The newest Woolworths catalogue features both deals, which are available in store from 11 April to 17 April.

The two offers are independent, so you could buy into both to score the full 3,000 points. While Woolworths promotes the fact that 2,000 Woolworths Rewards points entitle you to a $10 discount, you can get better value from your points by converting them to Qantas Points.

Every 2,000 points equate to 870 Qantas Points, which can be worth considerably more than $10 if you spend them on flight upgrades or flights. (Check out our full guide to Woolworths Rewards to learn more.)

The "Ultimate For Him" gift card can be used at Rebel Sports, Supercheap Auto, Barbeques Galore, BCF and Drummond Gold. These deals only make sense if you are planning a purchase anyway from one of the supported retailers, or if they make a sensible gift for someone on your list. As an addicted traveller, I'll be picking up the Accor hotels card and know it will get used, but will give the $50 deals a miss.

Gift card bonus point deals provide a steady mechanism to top up your points balance, but to ensure you are maximising your potential, make sure you are also earning points every time you use your credit card.
