Woolworths Mobile cuts Samsung contract prices
Customers signing up for a 24-month Samsung phone contract with Woolworths Mobile get a price reduction.
Woolworths Mobile has offered a range of Samsung mobile phones, starting with the Samsung Galaxy A3, the Samsung Galaxy S5 (which it launched with last year), Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S7 and through to the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. All of Woolworths Mobile’s phone contracts are for 24 month terms at three different price tiers depending on your usage, although you can’t buy those tiers outright as SIM-only options; for that Woolworths has its own pre-paid SIM option instead.
Woolworths Mobile has slightly rejigged and lowered its prices on a range of its handset deals, primarily by changing the monthly handset repayment cost charged to customers. On an individual monthly basis the largest drop is only $8 per month for the top end Samsung Galaxy S7 plan, but over a 24 month contract that does represent a $192 total saving. Woolworths Mobile’s cheapest phone plan is now the S plan with a Samsung Galaxy A3 bundled for $36 per month. Here’s how the new and old pricing compares for each phone model and plan type.
