Winky Lux has released a cat lover’s dream eyeshadow palette

Stephanie Panecasio 4 October 2017 NEWS

There are few things in this world as universally popular as kittens and makeup, so naturally, Winky Lux has brought them together with a cat-themed palette.

Cat lovers rejoice. Winky Lux has officially announced the release of its Kitten Palette. If your aesthetic is all about pastels, cute animals and striking eye looks, this eyeshadow palette is going to set your heart aflutter.

The brand debuted its new palette on Instagram this morning, with a series of photos starring the Insta-famous Persian chinchilla cat Hoochu. Sadly the kitten is not included, but a girl can dream!

The palette consists of nine shades in four different finishes: matte, satin, holographic and glitter. Of course, it wouldn't be a Kitten Palette without cat-themed names. The shades are named for all things feline, including Purr, Duchess, Strut, Holographic, 9 Lives, Cateye, Romeo, Cheshire and Boots. With such a varied mix of formulas and colours, the palette can easily work for both daily wear and an evening look, and although the shades are autumn-inspired they are definitely wearable year-round.

The brand is based in Manhattan, but you don't have to fear. Australian makeup lovers can still get their hands on the palette. The Winky Lux website offers international shipping to Australia, and some products from the brand are even available from ASOS (though there's no word yet as to whether the palette will be sold there or not). Winky Lux offers a 15% discount to new customers if you sign up to their newsletter, so you can even earn yourself a sweet little discount while purchasing the Kitten Palette. While you're there, check out Winky Lux's floral balm lipsticks. Each pH-balanced lipstick contains a flower that will tint your lips the perfect colour!
