You can register for the exclusive Sydney show at the American Express website to win 1 of 200 double passes.

UPDATE: 'Secret' gig location revealed
The Killers will be playing their free concert at the iconic live music venue Selina's at the Coogee Bay Hotel.

Calling all The Killers fans! After dropping cryptic emoji-based hints on social media all week, American Express has announced that it’s bringing Las Vegas rockers The Killers to Sydney for an intimate gig next week.

Hosted at a top-secret and yet-to-be-announced venue on Wednesday 9 May 2018, there are only 200 double passes up for grabs! In what I can only imagine will be a recreation of the episode of The OC when The Killers played at the Bait Shop, it'll be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and a refreshing change off the back of their Australian arena tour.

To get your hot little hands on the tickets, you just have to register for the competition on the American Express Experiences website. It’s open to all Australian residents aged at least 18 years old, so you don’t even need an American Express credit card to enter. And as simple as that, Brandon Flowers could be serenading you (oh, and 399 other lucky music fans) at an intimate gig in less than a week!

Winners will be announced around midday on Tuesday 8 May and you must RSVP for the event by 8am AEST on the day of the gig, so this is no time to play it coy when responding to messages. The venue will also be revealed closer to the event, so keep your eyes peeled!

Amex is hosting this one-night-only show to celebrate the launch of its Powerful Backing brand campaign.

“American Express has a long heritage of bringing amazing experiences to life. To celebrate the launch of our new Powerful Backing brand campaign, we’re bringing a global act to a small, iconic music venue and creating a live music experience that people will never forget,” says American Express vice president of brand and experiences Naysla Edwards. “It’s a sign of our commitment to supporting a thriving music scene in Australia – one that will flourish for years to come.”

The Killers will be supported by Sydney’s own singer-songwriter Alex Cameron, who is currently opening for the quartet on their Australia and New Zealand tour.

So what are you waiting for?! Jump on the Amex website and throw your hat in the ring. Good luck!
